Great views from our 1st floor room at the front of the Loch and Glen.Usual facilities, kettle, tea & coffee TV etc. Evening meal, bearing in mind we were a group of 50+ featured a good choice of menu, and was above average, Breakfast was also enjoyable, with good selection, The only draw back, was the amount of midges between the car park and... Was staying en route so decided to have first dinner of the holiday here. The bright overpowering orange painted building should have set alarm bells. Went in through hotel where there was nobody there so made our way to bar. At the bar there and the main lager and Guinness was off, in the height of the holiday season? Food... More

The hotel is in a grate spot, surrounded by mountains and on the shore of littel loch broom. We arrived in the afternoon, and enjoyed coffee and cake in the cosy lounge. if you like to read you wont be dissapointed as there are many books to choose from (which you can even take away with you) and a load... Amazing location - This hotel is a real find. Really impressed with the attention to detail everywhere. Lots of space and also many quiet, cosy places to curl up with a book undisturbed. The night that we stayed there was a live folk music session in the bar. A brilliant atmosphere with everyone welcomed to join in if they wished.... More

We stopped here for dinner, expecting th usual pub grub. We were very pleasantly surprised! Delicious fresh cooking, amazing burgers, good portions and friendly service. If you are passing this hotel stop in for a bite! You won't be disappointed!

We loved the freshly cooked breakfast and good service. The bedroom was fine, a bit dated. The bathroom was carpeted! I thought this was not allowed for hygiene reasons. The bar area was very pleasant with loads of books to read.

We didn't stay at this hotel, but we ate dinner here twice. I couldn't find the restaurant to review it separately, so I hope this is okay. We stayed at Sail Mhor View Cottage. The food was excellent at the restaurant of Dundonnell Hotel. The prices were fair and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed talking to other... More

Beautiful location along the west coast of Scotland in a more remote part of Scotland. The hotel - room is a good side, but found that it could do with a makeover. The carpets are marked and has seen better days plus the room I had, the double glazing seal has gone with a huge amount of condensation between the... More

Very cozy and welcoming hotel located in the middle of the nature. Rooms and staff are excellent as well as the restaurant serving delicious food. Free wifi available. High and low tides can be seen on the other side of the road as the loch ends just opposite the hotel.

For three years now my wife and I have come to the Dundonnell for the April Music Weekend - a long weekend of folk sessions. Three trips so far and consistently good service, good food, and good times. On each visit Trish, Rob and staff have made us feel welcome. All of this set amidst some of the most beautiful... More
