A good value hotel with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The decor is a tad dated as one would expect with the age of the building. Showers good and bed is comfy and clean. There is wifi in the main lounge password 1a2b3c4dee No wifi in the rooms Food was good and helping were fair. Will be back later in the... More

This hotel is stuck in the eighties can you believe they have green baths. Rooms very dated but there we're clean. When we stayed we only came across 2 other guest. It is a shame it was once a very grand hotel but not any more needs a lot of investment. Food is average. Would I stay again no I... More

I have stayed there before over a number of years for their music weekends. This was a "wee" break from the normal hectic bustle of life and living. Stayed three nights, Friday to Sunday and had a glorious time and as usual there was the music sessions every night. Not as hectic as the music weekends they have in April and... More

Four of us popped in here for a lite bite and a cuppa after spending a bit of time walking around the local Gorge. Three had scone and one had a rather tasty homemade lemon meringue pie all served with fresh tea by a really helpful and friendly lady. A really pleasant break.

Spent 2 nights there in early June as we were walking in the Letterewe Wilderness. The hotel fronts onto the lock so the views from the front facing rooms are spectacular. The hotel is very spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful. I only scored it 4 as we found the evening menu options a little tired and in... More

Five of us stopped by for morning coffee and snack - no customers in the hotel but we were not allowed to sit in the comfortable RESIDENTS lounge - instead we sat on hard chairs at Formica topped tables among the multiple vases of cheap plastic flowers. Coffee was OK but the home made biscuits were £2 ea, and a... More

This hotel is what a Highland hotel should be all about. The level of hospitality and genuine care taken in this hotel is a credit to the owners. Because of that, it's got everything you need in the Highlands to eat, drink and be merry: Scenery, it lies at the foot of An Teallach on the south side of Little... More

We were touring with our MG V8 friends and stayed here for two nights. The views from our room over the loch were excellent. The accommodation and food was very good and the staff were all very friendly and helpful especially when we had a specific diet to request. The prices were very reasonable and they have a good selection... More

Stayed here for a night while walking part of the Cape Wrath Trail. I arrived, sweaty and caked in mud from bogs I'd walked through that day, without having made a prior booking, but that was no problem. Was quickly checked in. Lovely room, clean and spacious. Meal in restaurant was good value for money. Breakfast was filling. Staff were... More

Stayed two nights while on a classic car tour in highlands. The location must be one of the best views ever over the loch. Staff so very friendly and helpful and the quality of the food was excellent for the menu available. And they don't try and double their profit on the bar prices Recommended for a stay in this...
