Thank you very much to Mairi McNeil and her staff for a great stay. Thank you also for helping me to put on a party that will hopefully be remembered for quite some time to come. You made great food and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.

Anyone who reads my reviews knows I usually get on Tripadvisor to praise, but unfortunately this time it's not the case. The Old Brewery building is lovely and on the face of it has been well restored. I stayed here this week and have to say it is really no more than a glorified hostel. The room I had looked... More

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, disappointed it was only for one night. Cromarty is a lovely sleepy wee village on the water. Staff were very friendly, rooms clean and fresh, good breakfast and excellent value for money. Two small pubs and a good restaurant with delicious wood fired pizzas just up the road. Make sure you book or arrive before 8pm as... More

The Old Brewery is an small but excellent B&B in the lovely village of Cromarty. Spent one night here in a room with a view over the Cromarty Firth - the room was very comfortable, very clean (as were the bathrooms), and at great value. Breakfast was good and well served - and so will be returning for sure when... More

We recently went to the Cromary Brewery for an 'away day' style event with a group of adults (?!). It was ideal - a great atmosphere in the this fine old working building. the accommodation is clean and comfortable and suits students or younger attendees as well as us oldies. The meeting room at the top of the building is... More

I stayed one night during a holiday visit to the Black Isle. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good basic comfortable B&B. My single room was small, but cheerful and clean and very adequate for my needs, with good storage space. There are a couple of comfortable lounges for reading, watching TV, or just hanging out.... Lovely restoration of these old buildings, inside is a nice suprise after the basic outside. Clean functional rooms although the shower & toilets are shared so not en-suite. Very good plentiful continental style breakfast. Very friendly staff, happy to accommodate our dog who was travelling with us. Common room at the top of the building with TV etc. Short walk... More

This used to be lovely when it was first opened but it seems to have gone downhill. The room was nice, but the shower didn't work (not great having just come in from the beach); the management was pretty grim, and the breakfast consisted of mouldy supermarket croissants from the freezer. Quite good value though.
