Very comfortable and well laid out, very clean and breakfast was lovely (especially the fresh eggs). The views from the room are incredible. I can't recommend this highly enough. Honestly can't imagine better.

Highly recommend this studio apartment with full Scottish breakfast carried across on a trolley from the adjacent main house. The view over the loch is gorgeous. Unfortunately the sunsets weren't quite what they could be if the weather had been better, but you blame anyone for that! Beautiful comfy place with lots of lovely touches... the bathroom toiletries, the décor,... More

We visited this weekend for my birthday and were not disappointed. The b&b is in an ideal spot for exploring and Sue and Andy are very accommodating and helpful. The finish is beautiful, large windows facing a spectacular view mean that the television in the room is almost obsolete! The furniture is very comfortable and the whole apartment was spotless!... I cant recommend the b&b enough if you want a quiet break and enjoy taking in stunning views. It was the perfect base for exploring Applecross and the surrounding peninsula. The owners are wonderful and it was great to have a full Scottish served in the apartment both mornings. For evening meals we ate at the Applecross Inn. Keep an... More

We stayed last weekend for my partners birthday. I had read the reviews prior to arrival but have to say I was still surprised at how well finished the studio is. Firstly the photos do not do justice to the living space within the studio. As well as a good sized room with 5 ft bed, there is a dining... More

Spindrift is a perfect base for exploring the Applecross Peninsula. It is a self-contained studio attached to the main house of the owners, with its own entrance. It is situated on the coast about 8 miles up a single track road (as all roads are on Applecross) from Applecross village where you will find a couple of restaurants. It is... More

We recently stayed at Spindrift for 5 nights at the beginning of August and cannot recommend it enough. The self contained studio style room is perfectly set up with everything you should need for your stay however long or short. The room is accessed by a separate door away from the main house which means you can come and go... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the best decorated & most comfortable b&b We've ever stayed in. The bed was really comfy. The room was clean and airy. The views (duel aspect!) across the sea were wonderful. We enjoyed a stunning scenic drive to get there & a wonderful welcome from Sue when we did. Good access down their newly... More

This is a beautiful modern house built in Scandinavian style which sits by itself on the Applecross peninsula looking across to the isle of Raasay and Skye beyond. The B&B is like a little studio with its own entry, with a small kitchen containing a microwave and fridge, a roomy bathroom with shower and a sitting room/bedroom with views across... More

2nd visit to this B&B and it's still as lovely as we remember. There's a new drive so no longer bumpy to the front door. Sue & Andy couldn't have done enough and the breakfasts were to die for. Fresh eggs from the hens in the field and lots of lovely hot accompaniments. The self-catering element is great too as... More
