Stayed here when on a trip last June and it was BUCKETING it with rain the entire time! Lovely site though, agree with another review as it is a shame there is no view. There is a quaint polytunnel restaurant which gave us a bit of relief from the rain where we were able to stay as long as we... More

A couple of friends & I had an excellent stay at the Applecross campsite 2 weeks ago. The staff couldnt have been more welcoming as we phoned ahead to book, & we arrived to a gorgeous location, great facilities, & v kind staff. A treasure of a place!

We have booked 2 nights there in a hut but on our way to Applecross our car broke down so we arrived at our second day. The stuff was so incredible nice to offer us to stay a third night because we couldn't done the first one and we payed for two nights. We couldn't make it because we had... More

Excellent campsite, walking distance to many sites, walking trails, pub. Good basic breakfast, if don't fancy to do your own. Shame there is no real view! Basic shower block, small, but ok for end of September. Very friendly staff. But would come back an time.

I'm amazed at some of the disappointing reviews here. We stayed here for 1night of out scotland tour after a camper at another site had mentioned it. Luckily they did as we were let down by a campsite we were going to be staying at. We went on the amazing 2053ft fun Bealach Na Ba (historic pass through the mountains... More

Recently stayed at this campsite in one of the newer static caravans for 5 nights. Good points: spacious enough for a family, spotlessly clean, great fridge & freezer plus oven and hob, good size shower and gas central heating. Not so good points: beds are not comfortable, no hard standing outside caravan, view restricted by trees, no outside seating. We... More

This was our first stop on the North Coast 500 route, despite not having the best weather it didn't dampen our spirits. Staff working on reception was friendly and welcoming. Toilets are basic, however cleaned on a regular basis. We stayed in camping pod number 10, it was excellent. We had a lovely view and the radiator and lighting inside... More

For years my friends have been telling me to visit Applecross so I made it my first stop on NC 500 with my dog in my Bongo. Facilities are basic and site was probably poorest value for money of the 6 I used on my route. I was on a hard standing pitch but still struggled to avoid muddy feet/paws... More
