We stayed in the B&B at the end of the campsite with Clive and Maureen for a night - we instantly dubbed them Granny and Granddad - in the nicest possible way - they were so friendly and welcomed us into their house with the warmest of welcomes. Lovely place, plenty of space a very comfy. Clive was so lovely... More

We stayed in a Camping Hut purely for the novelty factor but found it spacious, clean and homely. The showers and toilets were clean and the water was always warm. The views across the sea are fantastic and the windy road to Applecross is definitely unique. We were slightly disappointed to find that they had stopped running the cafe. If... More

This campsite is at the end of one of the most beautiful and remote roads in Scotland - the Bealach na Ba. We received a warm welcome when we arrived, and found the site a very relaxed place. The facilities are very clean, but perhaps a few more wouldn't go amiss - it's a busy place. However, I believe the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the campsite was very clean and tidy, good quality facilities. The Applecross Inn was lovely 5 min walk and dog friendly. The camper van pitches were hard standing with electric hook up. Would definitely go back.

We stayed in hut no 2 for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The facilities are very clean, with showers and laundry available. Our hut was very spacious inside. There are power points if you need to charge cameras, laptops etc. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The drive over the pass can be a bit daunting if... More

After a long drive through the exquisite Applecross scenery it was a treat to arrive at Clive and Maureen's home at the far end of the campsite. They take sharing their home with their guests very seriously and provide a highly personal and relaxed stay. Our two rooms were large and comfortable with new en-suite shower rooms. Toiletries, hairdryer and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in hut 8 and it was lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the amenities are good. Infact both times i went to the showers they were being cleaned thoroughly. The location is excellent, the town of Applecross is beautiful. I would have loved to stay longer and explore some of the walks... More

Lovely site and what a location - particularly the views from the upper field. I stayed for a couple of nights in one of the Camping Huts. Its exterior was shabby and could have done with a lick of paint or varnish. However, inside was spotless and in excellent condition. My big gripe is the low entrance door - about... More
