Bearing in mind the cost it's difficult to rate this higher. We liked our hut well enough but it's expensive for what you get if it's just 2 of you sharing. As ever you're at the mercy of fellow campers - bad luck for us there were some people who couldn't use the toilets in the accepted fashion and left... More

We booked a night here and turned out we were the only campervan there for the night. Got to pick where we were situated for the night but had to choose a pitch when we booked. It was lovely and peaceful and situated about a ten min walk from the pub down the hill and next to the loch. The... More

We spent 5 nights here in September and hired one of their new static caravans. Ok, not the cheapest if there's only 2 in a 6 berth caravan, but couldn't beat it for cleanliness and comfort. En suite toilet, separate shower-room and gas Central heating - superb! Nice big site, not too busy and friendly welcome on arrival. Definitely a... More

Between the rutting stag that I swear was in the campsite and the owl in the tree above our pitch, well, ear plugs were needed for a sleep. but, WOW! Stags were roaring to each other from going dark till after first light. Midges were ataying away thankfully. Toilet block could be considered inconveniently placed if camping in the second... More

Great campsite in terms of view and friendly owners. However, we had our experience spoiled by 2 main things: - lack of facilities (only 4 toilets and 2 showers for each). Powercut in the morning...great when taking a shower. Floor absolutely disgusting , full of grass and mud. Also the facilities are behind the reception so if you are further... More

This is a great little campsite in one of my favorite places in Scotland. We stayed in the wooden wig wams for two nights and it was a perfect alternative to camping in tents. The wig wams have four mattresses which can be configured in to various beds, however we made a double stacked bed which added extra comfort. Just... More

A couple of friends an I rented a caravan for a few days to cycle the roads of Applecross, including the Bealach. The campsite was in a great location - stunning views. The people were incredibly friendly and helpful. Don't rely on any phone reception but they offer wi-fi! They even laid on great weather! We will be back!

This is a good campsite and I recommend that you take one of the camping huts. The huts sleep four and have comfortable mats Theres a table as well The showers are a bit scarce and quite a long walk if you are in the back field. We have been here a few times and its a great car friendly... More

Great site very friendly staff nice hot showers. Had a problem with tent and guy at reception was happy to help. Would be great if had a campers kitchen or even just a covered area to sit under when weather was wet. But will definitely be back again, loved it

We booked a cabin instead of taking the tent for a change fairly late and got in no problem and the price was very reasonable! The journey across the mountain on single track roads can be a little daunting for some but well worth it for the views and when you arrive into Applecross it is well worth the effort!... More
