The Hotel is situated at a T where two highways come together. It is certainly convenient to The Great Glen Way and is a picturesque old hotel. We were in an annex which was not at all charming, but the room was ample and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. The interior of the hotel was charming. The wifi was... More

Really nice night spent here. Staff were lovely and food very good. Had a nice room with Jacuzzi and four poster for our anniversary which the staff modelled the towels on the bed to look like swans - very romantic.

We arrived looking less well-presented than some of the other guests, having been walking for 18 miles on the mountains from South Laggan! However, our Czech receptionist (who spoke excellent English and was familiar with the area) welcomed us warmly and sympathetically and made sure were were soon installed in our room with the minimum of fuss. Our room was... More

We visited the Arms three times whilst staying at the nearby Invermoriston Bothy. After a day of walking/site seeing it was always nice to be able to wonder along and enjoy the beer garden for drinks and whiskey tasting. We also had two meals, one bar and one restaurant. Both were excellent with great service.

A snowy drive down The Great Glen we had decided enough was enough and there it was a friendly haven. A true country hotel with everything a friendly hostess, attentive staff, a very comfortable suite with oodles of Scottish charm and an absence of kitsch. The food was good and the chef very accommodating with reference my food allergies. We... More

As a family of 11, we had been for a lovely walk along the falls at Invermoriston. Afterwards we visited the Glenmoriston Arms for a well needed bite of lunch. We were all made to feel very welcome and enjoyed fresh, tasty food in a relaxed environment. There is a kids menus which is great value and the chef was... More

I spent two nights here. Thank you Ailsa, Barbara and Corrie for making me feel so welcome. The room was comfortable, cosy and quiet. There was a good choice at breakfast and I didn't feel like eating again until the evening. I was very unadventurous in my evening dinner choice as the saddle of venison with the rich gravy and... Lovely hotel situated on the A82 towards Inverness. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "Moriston Four Poster and Jacuzzi" room which was very large with a lovely four poster bed and massive bathrom which included a jacuzzi bath (big enough for 2) and I would say worth the extra expense. The hotel has a very homely... More

if you are looking for a quaint old Scottish coaching inn this will fit the bill. Nestled in amongst the mountains beside Loch Ness. Clean & tidy with a warm welcome and a decent breakfast. Sausages were the best tasted for a long time.

We stayed at the Glenmoriston in late February. It's typically a quiet time of year, but Ailsa, made us feel very welcome. It's a homely hotel with a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed our evening meal and the portions were generous!!
