I spent two nights here. Thank you Ailsa, Barbara and Corrie for making me feel so welcome. The room was comfortable, cosy and quiet. There was a good choice at breakfast and I didn't feel like eating again until the evening. I was very unadventurous in my evening dinner choice as the saddle of venison with the rich gravy and... Lovely hotel situated on the A82 towards Inverness. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "Moriston Four Poster and Jacuzzi" room which was very large with a lovely four poster bed and massive bathrom which included a jacuzzi bath (big enough for 2) and I would say worth the extra expense. The hotel has a very homely... More

if you are looking for a quaint old Scottish coaching inn this will fit the bill. Nestled in amongst the mountains beside Loch Ness. Clean & tidy with a warm welcome and a decent breakfast. Sausages were the best tasted for a long time.

We stayed at the Glenmoriston in late February. It's typically a quiet time of year, but Ailsa, made us feel very welcome. It's a homely hotel with a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed our evening meal and the portions were generous!!

Having stayed here on four previous occasions I have always intended to submit a review but never actually got around to it. I have been spurred into action after having read some of the recent opinions, no doubt valid, but not necessarily accurate. I appreciate that the opinions expressed are subjective and therefore don't wish to cause offence. That said,... More

I needed a short break after some surgery and being stuck at home for a few weeks so my wife and I drove up and stayed here. Loved the place, Was very cosy especially with the log burner. Room was spacious and clean with very nice bathroom. Dinner was very nice and morning breakfast was fab. Ailsa is a lovely... More

We were stopping in Fort Augustus and saw that this hotel is open to non residents for food and decided to stop. We were not dissapointed, we immediately felt at home after being greeted by the friendly staff. We were sat in the lounge in front of a roaring fire served drinks and our orders taken, then moved to the... More

Such a lovely place to stay. Ailsa went above and beyond to look after us. Room was really big and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Really welcome warm and the extra touches were brilliant. Brilliant location. Food was beautiful. Will definitely be visiting in the future, thank you for having us

Stopped in for dinner while staying at Craik na Dav on the GGW. I ordered the ham steak for dinner (I can't remember the scottish name for it) I thought I'd ordered a beef steak but I still wasn't disappointed. Good sized meal and friendly and polite service. There were quite a few workers there when I arrived so I... More

Conveniently located when exploring the Loch Ness area, the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel is a warm and welcoming hotel with the look and feel of an old country inn. The hotel has an outside veranda, a pub, restaurant, and sitting room with comfortable couches. Our double room had 2 single beds that were very comfortable with fluffy, soft, duvets. The bathroom...
