Kevin and Trudy were outstanding hosts and made our 2 night stay an enjoyable one to remember for our international party of five. Free wifi, peace and quiet, and homemade cooking what more can you ask for!. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The salmon and homemade steak pie were awesome. We even learned a regional dialect from Kevin (Tin,tin... More

I stayed in a single room on the top floor with a shared bathroom. It was a lovely sized room, and I had a great breakfast in the morning. There was a lovely guest sitting room to relax in during the evening, as well as a conservatory and outside seating area. The area is not within easy walking distance of... More

Realising we were going to be later than the specified hotel time we phone ahead which I think the hosts appreciated. Upon arrival, despite the Sat Nav leading us to the wrong place at the start, we were warmly greeted into the House. Our room was out in the bar alongside another double room which you then shared the living... More

Stayed here overnight on business in the area. Although other options were available, I wanted to stay here. I wasn't disappointed. For an overnight stay it had all that I needed. Free wifi, peace and quiet, and homemade cooking. The room was highly appointed and comfortable. I had a Thai fish cake, and then a homemade steak pie which was... More

We stayed for 1 night but wished to have stayed longer. Beautiful place. We enjoyed our room that overlooked the mountain. Everything was just perfect. The hospitality was absolute great. We loved everything and will definitely stay longer next time. Thanks to our hostess for making us feel so welcome.

We recently stayed here for one night while touring Scotland. I wish we could have stayed for a week, from the moment we drove up the driveway, we knew it was going to be special. The grounds are lovely. As we went to the main area of the house to check in Trudy came out and welcomed us like we... More

My favorite part was sitting outside at night and hearing only conversation and the animals and birds. The food was wonderful and the service was grand. I was happy with the room and amenities, too. Next time I would get an ensuite bathroom. Nothing went wrong - the people I shared the bathroom with were pleasant and the the room... More

What a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful house, lovely gardens and what a view! Weather was fantastic when I was there so was able to sit outside at 10 o'clock at night. So quiet! Only sounds were sheep baa-ing and birds singing! Room was lovely, usual kettle/tea/coffee, hairdrier, TV and alarm clock. Breakfast is cereal, fruit & yoghurt, fruit juice,... More

A great place, secluded, friendly owners, comfy bed, great breakfast. Shower is a little small in the barn and the partition wall between the rooms might need making thicker and sealing off, I could hear the guy in the next room..

Cosy atmosphere and great location as long as you have transport. Excellent walks nearby and Loch Ness in the village of Fort Augustus 2 miles away. It's under 50mins to Inverness and not far to Fort William and Ben Nevis, not to mention the myriad other places to visit/see in the region. The room was lovely, the bathroom was spotless... More
