After days in Knoydart wild camping we stayed here on route to Glen Affrich. Excellent facilities, though clearly winding down for the off season. Room excellent for two and kitchen adequate even though there could have been more cooking utensils and general kitchen ware. We would certainly stay here again, the staff were friendly, Fort Augustus is lovely and the... More

It says it is a hostel, but they only have private rooms and the building feels like it is falling apart even though it's rather new. 30 pounds for a single room without breakfast or a towel is not cheap under these conditions. Don't know how vamping is. But staff was nice and the food was ok.

Excellent value. Clean and modern toilet and showering facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The campsite is in a central location and so within easy walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Spent one night here to give us good access to both shores of Loch Ness. The room was basic but very comfortable, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the facilities were very good. The showers do need a little more furnishing; a few more hooks or a shelf would be very helpful. Apart from this, no qualms about... More

Have now stayed here on several occasions. Camping and in the lodge. Excellent site and staff let down by totally inadequate showers and toilets. Only 3 showers in each and when all 3 are in use at the same time, well lets say it's poor.

We were a group of 11 each paying £23 per night,so not cheap accomodation by any standards the rooms were clean & beds fairly comfy, however the facilities were appalling ! In the toilet block one cubicle was blocked, the second had pipes which groaned when you flushed, to the extent that a small child who was in there ran... More

Yes as title worth a stay, two large fields, one for tents only, other tents and caravans, good clean facilities, toilets, showers and wash area. Extra facilities of restaurant and hostel we were a tiny bit unlucky in that there was a school or few schools of pupils there, a little rowdy and one wee boy took something from our... More

Stopped in here for the night whilst en-route further North, the older chap behind the counter pointed me in the direction of a marquee with hard-standing under which to park the bike overnight. Loads of room to pitch the tent, clean & modern facilities and a decent bar on site selling local real ales and all for £8 a night.... More

Had a brief one night stay here and had a lovely night. The site is set in stunning scenery, with lovely flat pitches. The only thing we didn't like was that the tents are situated in one open field where we prefer a bit of seclusion but each to their own. The shower/toilet blocks are really clean and inviting although... More
