I travelled around Scotland with my three daughters. It was their first experience of a hostel and I was pleased to find such a good first experience for them. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the instructions labeled on the closets. The room was clean, with soft blankets. There is a big dining room with the possibility of... More

Morag's Lodge is beautiful! Such great amenities, including a self serve kitchen (or home cooked food made by staff), an attached pub (live music- sometimes, great prices and selections). The rooms were nothing as expected- they were better! My sister and I were in a semi private room (2 bunk beds) with 2 girls from our tour group. We had... More

Stayed at Morag's for two nights. The communal areas, kitchen and bar are awesome. In the bar they put on a trivia night which was so much fun. The dorms however are super tiny and outdated for the amount of money you pay. We stayed in a six bed dorm and it was quite squishy with suitcases etc and I... More

Thank-you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and especially our bar and pub quiz night. All of our bunks are new with individual power sockets and lights, with our most recently installed bunks having USB ports too! We have a selection of room sizes that can accommodate between two and seven people, the majority... More

I stayed here with a tour group, it felt like a home away from home. There was a really talented local musician playing in the bar in the evening, and we saw bats flying from the garden. The rooms were nice and there were a lot of bathrooms which is good.

Loved Morag's lodge! So close to Lake Loch Ness. Spent two nights there on a trip to the highlands, sight seeing on motorbikes. For bikers they are very friendly and for bikes - well, very accommodating! Bikes loved the stay as much as we did. Super pampered!! Night we were there there was a tour in and great entertainment from... More

A Big Thanks to Bridie and Danny G for an awesome few nights staying at Morag's. They both went the extra mile to ensure we had a good nights sleep and nothing was a problem. Nicest hostel I've stayed in. Home made meals topped off the stay!! Thanks again - would highly recommend

Looks like a purpose built hostel-we used it for a few days hill climbing nearby. Kitchen good, few sensible utensils (this is not unusual), comfortable beds, has it's own bar - stayed in one night and out to the village the next. Used by the Happy Haggis tour folk so expect to see lots of young folk about with phones... More

I recently stayed at Morags Lodge, which was used as the included accommodation in a Haggis Adventures tour. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Bridie (one of the Aussie staff who introduced us to the property and worked through out the establishment) was extremely helpful with assisting myself and my other tour members with special requirements. Good effort! keep... More

Massive dorm rooms, clean large bathrooms. The communal area has a lounge, dining hall room and a in house bar. Great selection of whiskys and ales. Dinners were massive and great value for money. Breakfast was expensive for what it was. Cute town, down the street. Restaurants and ATM's not a long walk. Great for touring around Loch Ness

We visited Morags Lodge as a stop over for a night on our way to our next destination. Morags is placed within a very scenic and idyllic area. The staff were very welcoming and we even had a little letter left for us incase we turned up after they had left! The room was of a good size, the bed... More
