We only stayed one night but It felt like we were family. The meals were great, the activities in the bar are a plenty and the staff were fantastic. The rooms and facilities were very clean. I can't wait to go back to Scotland and I will definitely go back.

When hiking I dislike wandering off route for accommodation. Morag's is bang on the Great Glen Way. I received a nice greeting. My room was bright, spacious and clean with an ensuite bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were great value. The bar area is good with a fairly decent choice of beer. One small minus- in an area of poor phone... More

Ended up staying here as part of a Haggis Adventure tour but so glad I did. It's in a lovely location, and the immediate surroundings are so calming and beautiful. The rooms are fabulous considering hostel..better than some hotels I've been in..the beds have individual power supplies/lights so very convenient. Bathroom in the room is also an obvious bonus. Only... More

When walking the Great Glen Way, this is the ideal place to stay. The facilities and staff (thank you, Julia, for your help) are great and the accommodation very comfortable. There's free wifi and facility to charge phones etc in each room, together with individual lights for each bed. The facilities of a hostel combined with the comfort of a... More

We arrived earlier than our check in time of 4pm. It didn't matter as we were able to go in, find the free tea and coffee and rest our weary legs on the very comfy squashy sofas. We were all pretty soaked from the rain so it was great to be able to arrive earlier than planned. If we had... More

Stayed here for one night with 2 friends whilst visiting Scotland. The hostel is perfectly located, just a short walk to the central town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we rented bikes from there too. The room was so clean, with comfy beds, individual shelves, plug sockets and lights. The en suite was spacious with a beaut... More

A fantastic hostel with fantastic staff. Danny G welcomed us on arrival and made us feel well at home. Later on we had some drinks in the bar, which is very cool - served by the delightful Bridie. Wonderful stay couldn't recommend it higher. The hostel is warm, friendly and has excellent showers!

I stayed at Morag's for two nights. The Hostel has a well stocked bar and a choice of self-catering or you can purchase food through the kitchen. I purchased dinner twice through the Hostel. Each meal was well cooked and a generous size for the price. The staff were very friendly throughout my stay and even put on a trivia... More

I travelled around Scotland with my three daughters. It was their first experience of a hostel and I was pleased to find such a good first experience for them. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the instructions labeled on the closets. The room was clean, with soft blankets. There is a big dining room with the possibility of... More
