A wonderful welcome, lovely room , fantastic food and memorable for all the right reasons. It's the kind of hotel you don't see enough of anymore and I feel so lucky that I found it. A one night stop-over changed into a week long stay because of the lovely welcome I received! more

On a week-long driving tour of the Highlands this was by far our favourite place to stay. Run by a lovely and incredibly hard-working family, with huge rooms, comfy beds and great showers. This is a 3* hotel with 5* cuisine. There is nothing pretentious about this hotel at all.It is a small family run place with friendly staff.the place is absolutely spotless,no mod cons,but more than adequate fot the traveller. CLose to everything with a lovely dining room and nice bar, the hotel people could not be nicer. we only stayed for one night while travelling across scotland. the room was a reasonable size and very clean. the evening meal and breakfast was first class. great value. we wish we could have stayed longer. more
