We stayed 3 nights at Corrie Liath and had a very enjoyable stay. Caroline and Andy were very helpful, I had the misfortune of spraining my ankle before our trip and they went out of there way to suggest things we could still enjoy and to ask how I was doing. The breakfast is lovely and the bbq hut is... More

We stayed one pleasant night at Corrie Liath. The room was comfortable and homely, the owners were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast offered was wonderful. It was a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Fort Augustus which suited us well.

These people can change their attitude towards you from 1 second to the next. We had to ask for heating in our room, it says free WiFi but it s turned off at 10pm and when we went to ask for it the owner told us to keep our voice down because it s 'late' and that No, no more... More

You did your washing and hung it on the chairs on the deck to dry, we brought it in when it started raining and offered to dry them for you. We did put the heating on when requested even though it was 25 degrees and we knew it was to dry washing. The wifi is never turned off, we are... More

Corrie Liath is a bit out-of-town in Fort Augustus. It was getting quite late and we were getting desperate for a place to stay and Corrie Liath was available. We found a very friendly B&B hosted by Andy and Caroline. Their recommendation for dinner proved excellent and they served a very nice breakfast. The room was very comfortable and the... More

We arrived half an hour early and were welcomed by Caroline and Andy. Very organised and helpful couple. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. We went into St Augustus for supper then came back and Andy lit the bbq in the hut. It was lovely such a different idea and we loved sitting in there in the... More

This room was booked for me on the guided tour I was on. The hosts/owners were lovely and accomodating for my dietary needs of gluten free. Caroline makes her own jam which is fabulous! Andy was such a gentleman with my case (which was quite heavy!) The room was clean and large and the bed was so comfortable. The room... More

Caroline & Andy are fantastic hosts, very welcoming and have thought of absolutely everything a guest might require. This B&B is motorcycle friendly and parking is ideal and there was even an allocated towel for drying off wet bike seats ... now that's organised. Our rooms were perfect and the breakfast was the best we all had over our holiday... More

A welcoming but unpretentious B&B. The rooms may not be as big or luxuriously furnished as some, but we had everything we needed and all in working order. (I've often been kept awake by en-suite fans. This one was so quiet I thought at first it didn't work!) Yes, it's a bit out of the town centre but we didn't... More
