a truly stunning place to stay , apartment had everything we needed, but the fact we were sleeping in a fort which had been converted into a monastery was exciting . The stunning hallways and architecture of the building were amazing and on top of that you have the spook factor ! The chapel pool was fabulous and the staff... More

A truly unforgettable experience: from the arching corridors to the quaint cloisters; the blindingly high apartment ceilings to the original cathedral windows; the vast, open grounds to the sublime setting of Loch Ness. We really couldn't have asked for more. We chose the Talisker apartment which faces the Abbey cloisters. The apartment was very spacious, and as there were 4... More

Can't imagine a better place to stay to explore the glorious Scottish highlands. First a fort to fight rebellious Jacobites, converted into an monastery, now luxury accommodation with everything you could need for a week or more. We were lucky with the weather and could enjoy walks along the Caledonian Canal, the nearby forests and around the shore of Loch Ness... More

Struan apartment has unrivalled views of Loch Ness. The property is beautifully furnished and spacious enough for 4 people. The pool area with its steam and sauna room is uniquely located in an old chapel and is first rate. Playing table tennis in the ancient cloisters is a memory I will always cherish! Amazing building, amazing location... Go there.... We... More

We had a fantastic week holiday in Abbey Church 2 - Alexander apartment. We had read a lot of hype about the complex and were not disappointed. The apartment was immaculate. The terrace looked on to the Loch. The Boat house restaurant was 3 minutes walk from the apartment. The grounds are beautiful - so peaceful and great for two... More

We were two couples who stayed for three nights in this marvellous apartment. It was just amazing to stay in the Abbey, the area around was incredible. Booking was easy and Charles took us on a tour around the Abbey showing us where everything was. We didn´t have time to use the pool, but I´m sure that it was as... More

Recently stayed in the Scriptorium complete with stain glass windows and gothic arches, everything was spotless and the accommodation was luxuriously equipped. Pool can become a little raucous when families with children book it and it is really designed more as an adult relaxation area with the sauna and steam room, both of which are welcome treats after day hiking...
