We camped at Old Pier House after seeing the sign from the water and pulling our kayak up on the beach and enquiring about camping. Jenny was so accomodating and welcoming to us and the breakfast was very tasty in the morning. The location is just fantastic and its an easy walk into town for the pubs and dinner. We... More

We Stayed at the old pier house for Easter this year. We had a wonderful time. Loved every minute. We stayed in the wing of the house as all the cabins had been booked already. It was clean and very comftable. Located right on the Loch Ness. Beautiful views... Took so many photos. Definitely want to go back. Jenny the... More

what an amazing place this is! We chose this place completely at random and we hit gold first time, lovely welcome from the owner and the accommodation was truly amazing. We stayed in one of the cabins in the grounds and it was a magical experience. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast perfection. I really can't praise this... More

Jenny let my daughter help out with the horses which made her week. Good town to stay with loads to do around and... More

So glad we never booked here, booked a lovely place only 1000 yards away but decided to check out The Old Pier House while in the area. Half way down the drive we were confronted by an extremely rude and unwelcoming female who as it transpires is the owner/operator. My wife and I (both in our 50's) we're treated like... More

Unplanned adventure, took a turn down the path and truly amazed at the end of it (we only went down as we thought we could buy tea and sit looking over the loch) A very warm welcome from Jenny. Decided we would stay the night. Very comfortable accomodation with undoubtedly the best view of the Loch. Jenny explained the no... More

I was solo hiking the Great Glen Way - this was one of my favorite B&Bs, and I feel so enriched to have spent a little time with Jenny MacKenzie. The room was comfortable but not fussy, but I was much taken with the location on the peninsula jutting into the loch, and the menagerie of Highland cattle and ponies... More

Ginny MacKenzie opens up her home to you right on the Loch Ness. Private but easy walk to Fort Augustus makes it a perfect place to see the whole area. Ginny has canoes you can use, horses you can pet and feed and even Highland Cattle you can pet and get close to for those special photos. What wonderful place... More

We booked the family room for 4 adults, 2 kids and 1 toddler. Very clean and comfortable. Fantastic views, and great service. It comes with a small kitchen. Can park 2 cars right outside our room. Highly recommended!

A group of ten of us kayaking the Great Glen, a week ago, phoned ahead and got accommodation for a night right on the shore of Loch Ness. A fantastic welcome, very comfortable accommodation and at a good price. We were even transported to a local pub in the evening. A great place to stay, marvellous views and a great... More
