My husband and I recently had a wondeful stay with Vanessa and Alistair at their Guest House, which is ideally situated for exploring the Highlands of Scotland and Inverness itself. They have a wealth of local knowledge and are happy to share it with guests. We have stayed here before and were delighted to find the same warm welcome waiting... more

We were really pleased that we booked this B&B - its in a good central location but is also quiet and relaxing. On arrival the hosts made us feel very welcome with a cuppa and recommended a variety of local restaurants for dinner. They also made reservations for us - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and... more

This B&B is in a lovey modern house in a beautiful picturesque setting. It was over looking Loch Ness and had breathtaking views from the window. Our host was very friendly and made us very welcome. The rooms were modern, a good size and clean. The breakfast was very good. All round a lovely place to stay. more

I had walked the 21 or so miles up the Great Glen Way from Fort Augustus, so yes, that last bit from the main road to Glen Rowan was hard. However I was warmly welcomed by Alistair, offered refreshment while he went over the choices of local restaurant for evening meal. 5 minutes later he had booked another guest and... more

We have stayed at Glen Rowan B&B on a few occasions and it is just a lovely place to stay. The rooms are lovely, very well furnished and with lots of accessories which guests may have forgotten to bring themselves. Breakfast is excellent with a very good choice. There are a number of services offered including packed lunches, laundry services.... more

Alistair gave my wife and I such a warm welcome, and made us feel very much at home. The rooms were quite comfortable, and the food excellent. If you are looking for a hotel to lounge about in all day, this isn't it, but it was a delightful base camp for our exploration of the magnificent countryside surrounding it, and... more

I stayed at Glen Rowan Guest House for 5 nights and I can safely stay it was the best place I ever stayed. The Guest House is situated in a very quiet area, but walking distance from a couple of good restaurants, it is also walking distance to some attractions such as Drumnadrochit Loch Ness Centre and Urquhart Castle. The... more

Glen Rowan is very easy to find with a satnav, not far from main town of Drumnadrochit but nice and quiet. Ample parking for the 3 guest rooms. Upon arrival, offered a nice cup of coffee/tea in the beautiful back garden (next to a stream), a nice welcome. The room and bathroom was immaculate, both were a bit on the... more

Our family went in search of the famous "Loch Ness Monster" at Drumnadrochit, Scotland. But first we needed a place to rest our head. Boy did we find a beautiful bed and breakfast. Great Glen Bed and Breakfast, hosted by Graham and Sonia Anderson was perfect for our family. Yes they are family friendly. Our 2 young boys had the... more
