Myself and my 13 year old daughter stayed here for one night in July whilst walking the Great Glen Way. It is directly on the route so extremely handy and was a welcome sight as the rain started! It's quite a way out of Drum so you need to not mind extra walking if you need supplies. We ate dinner... More

Visited here for a night recently, from Ireland and can't recommend it enough. We stayed in the main house which was clean, modern, obviously newly renovated, with perfect WiFi and a great breakfast. Hostess was extremely friendly. I agree with other reviewers that it is more for trekkers/hikers/young people as it is a bit off the beaten track, but its... More

A very nice B&B with a great service! Perfect for families. The dinner and breakfast was very nice. A good walking track close to the lodge. Not far from Loch Ness and Inverness. The room was nice with a good bathroom.

I am a genuine explorer and like to "do as romans do". I have never had too high expectations from my receivers however, this place was just a gem found in ocean. The owner welcomed us like a house guest who has been missed for a while. She is the glue of the place. The food was excellent (even though... More

Stayed for one night, located good distance from village, long drive to actual house, was expecting a grand estate but found a small house. Greeted by lovely girl from Eastern Europe , 5mins later she was shouted at from the male manger who unprofessionally brought her around the dining room barking orders on how to postion chairs. He continued to... More

rRght on the Great Glen Way and set in its own grounds, the Lodge is a great find. Accommodation is just what you need and the steak and ale pie is unsurpassed. The hosts can't do enough for you, including lifts down to the village. I'd recommend Clunebeg Lodge to all walking the Great Glen Way.

The lady running the show is lovely if not a bit in your face! The picture on the website of my four-poster bed room looked very different to the actuality. The room had zero wifi, mismatched furniture and an en-suite that smelled, well not fresh enough for me. It seemed that every door creaked or made too much noise, however,... More

This is a wonderful little place. Really friendly and welcoming. Treated like we were family rather than guests. Would love to go back. Was a little tricky to find but as it's tucked away it felt really safe and wasn't too far from the village. We had a wonderful 3 nights stay.

The room had a bit of a 70's feel too it , felt more like an hostel than a b&b as there was no staff around until breakfast in the morning who in fairness were more than friendly enough . We found this a bit too far out from the town and pubs , and the taxi company we tried... More
