We enjoyed our stay at Drumbuie farm very much. A family of four, we booked two rooms and our girls had a twin room with lovely Loch views. With only three rooms for let, this was a nice, small B&B. We had the use of a lounge area and the breakfast room looked right out over Loch Ness as well.... More

A very comfortable room, lovely view out over Loch Ness. Excellent food and a beautiful and unusually furnished house. Caroline gave a friendly welcome and provided a generous breakfast. As a working farm we could see the highland cattle in the adjacent field. A good base to visit the surrounding area.

What a delightful place. Caroline is so friendly and the house is very comfortable. In addition, it is a working farm with beautiful Highland cows, one of which posed for me. It has a view of Loch Ness and is convenient to Urquhart Castle and Drumnadrachet.

Very cosy place with a wonderful view over the Loch. Caroline prepares the most generous breakfast, and if you get lucky you will get to taste her fantastic clootie dumpling. As for advice, she will tell you the spots worth seeing and the nice places to dine.

We stayed at the B&B on this working farm in late September. The farm is within easy walking distance to the village of Drumnadrochit. Caroline was the perfect host, welcoming and generous with advice on local activities and travel suggestions. The farm sits on a hill overlooking Loch Ness and nearby farms. As others have noted, the views from the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and were hosted by Caroline's daughter. She was a lovely host and made a delicious breakfast as well as offering up good suggestions for places to eat and stop on our drive around the lake. We stayed in the four-poster room which is at the back of the house. It was quiet, but the... More

My husband and I spent the second night of our Scotland Honeymoon at Carolyn's lovely home. She was welcoming but also gave us our privacy which was nice after a long day of travel. The room is well-appointed but the real charm of this B&B is the breakfast room where you have a gorgeous view of the countryside, including the... More

As a working farm this accommodation is not in Drumnadrochit village but about a kilometre from the village centre. A relatively easy walk, but slightly uphill, along footpaths by the main road. We stayed for 2 nights as a group while walking the Great Glen Way. The accommodation itself is excellent and Caroline a lovely host but there were a... More

We stayed or one night in September 2014. Friendly welcome from Caroline Urquhart, lovely room, very nice breakfast, and wow - what views of Loch Ness and the Great Glen countryside while cows and sheep can be seen close by, it is a farm afterall. It has to be said there can be some traffic noise at times from the... More
