My godmother's daughter joined us a few days ago after a visit to Scotland, including a disastrous visit to the Benleva Hotel. She showed us an article by reporter Olivia Bell from the Inverness Courier explaining how she broke her finger when a faulty window in her bedroom crashed down on it. The window was propped open with a block... More

So cheap they used a block of wood to keep the window open in our room. When I tried to remove it, the heavy window slammed down like a guillotine and snapped the bone on my little finger. The proprietor's response was appalling: he refused any pain relief, refused to allow his staff to take me to the nearest hospital.... More

Stayed here for two nights and was a little worried when we found it because it appeared to be in the middle of a housing estate, however, on exploring we found a great dog walk just around the corner and enjoyed a half mile walk into the village centre to have a look around. The room was "tired" and the... More

Stayed here whilst walking . Great place , great people , great food. I am not sure what people want for the price paid here its great value for money. As for the nasty , bully PPPEssex below I have checked his other reviews and he is a serial nasty piece of work and moans about everywhere he goes. I... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of July with my husband and 2 dogs. Staff and owner were really friendly and extremely kind to our dogs, which was brilliant as it was our first time travelling with them. Locals in the bar were friendly too and made us feel welcome!! Room was small but very clean and ensuite... More

Visited here for dinner while staying in a nearby BnB. The hotel has a great little bar with great selection of whisky's and locally made real ales. I recommend the steak pie and a pint of Wildness beer. The staff were all friendly and the bar had a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal if you want to go somewhere that does basic... More

We were told about this place during our stay in Drumnadrochit. We must have different standards. This is a pub and it served poor quality pub food, looked worst that school dinners. [in this picture what is supposed to be Scottish lamb, with vegetables etc]. Another couple who we met the following day and had eaten here told us that... More

We stayed in this hotel during July 2015. This is an affordable priced hotel. There is free wifi available at this hotel. Service was ok. The hotel is modern. The room had ok sort of view of the surroundings. We stayed here for a night. The food was ok but not that great. Check in and check out service was... More

Evidently a popular place with locals in this small village, maybe because of micro brewery. Very very hard to get the attention of bar staff to show us to the restaurant bar. Food was OK and a bit pricey for pub grub. Wouldn't rush back.
