Ignore the slightly scruffy interior as the service and food is great. All fresh local ingredients. A good atmosphere made up of locals and holiday makers. We ate in one evening and another evening ordered their takeaway pizza which was top quality. Booking recommended as this place gets busy for very good reasons.

We stayed recently for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon trip around Scotland, Although the Hotel is in the middle of a housing estate, its set back in its own grounds and externally looks OK apart from needing a good paint job. The website really sells this place as being High quality, but once you step through the door... More

After failing to find a free table for dinner in the Main Street in Drumnadrochit in the height of the tourist season for my family of 5 plus our border terrier we were told that the Benleva (2 min drive away) did great food. I was a bit dubious as we walked into the bar at the rear of the... More

As others have said this place may look a little rough around the edges but looks can be deceiving. The bar area is a busy area with a nice buzz from a good mix of locals and guests. The ales are excellent. Darkness and Hoppiness were both excellent and from the pubs own brewery. Food was fairly basic pub fare... More

This is a lovely small hotel/pub. Friendly staff, dog friendly and EXCELLENT beer. The DarkNess is a dark stout I was so taken with this one I bought 6 bottles home! The food was excellent and not overpriced. I didn't stay here as I had rented a cottage so I cannot comment on the rooms.

When my wife and I pulled up the the Benleva Hotel, she had some trepidations. The hotel was a bit... rustic? But we were there, and it was an adventure, so in we went. What a good decision to stay! The staff was so welcoming and friendly, and the room was clean and cozy. The best part of our stay... More

This is one of the few hotels/B&Bs in the area that allow owners to bring their dogs along, so that is already a plus for many people. We booked two rooms here and stayed for one night only. I found both rooms to be nice and spacious, but with rather small bathrooms. Breakfast was included in the price, making it... More

We did not appreciate what we would find. The ray was dark and rainy. The hotel was surrounded by trees. The rooms at the front of the hotel were spacious. The bar / pub food and the breakfast items were excellently prepared. But I would not eat here all week. The fact the the pub was excellent (chosen as a... More

Having just returned from the Benleva we are already checking our diaries to book our next visit. Being dog-lovers and taking a young labrador on his first weekend break we were understandably nervous about the experience we would have. The staff (and locals!) could not have done more to put our minds at ease. My wife, the dogs and I... More
