We were there with another couple and someone told us about this place so we went.....and we loved it!! The tartan carpet, the bar area outside, oh...and then there is the food! The girls had fish and chips and the guys gad the haggis and mash. I was kinda scared to try it so I took a bite off of... More

Driving around Scotland there are many BnB's, a few first class hotels and occasionally a hybrid like the Benleva in Drumnadrochit. We found the room clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. The pub restaurant was complete with families, fisherman back from fly fishing nearby, toddlers scooting across the floor, and two or three dogs. The beer brewed nearby was good... More

My partner and I stayed here for 4/5 days on our first visit to Scotland. It was nice to see a pet friendly hotel which are hard to come by these days. The food was amazing and even ignited our love for haggis. My partner enjoyed the selection of beers and whiskey, however I was disappointed with the wine selection... More

This hotel is your typical highland hotel. So it's not as perfect as many modern hotels and yes, you have to drive past a housing estate to get to it (drum was probably built around old houses after all). It's still full of character with mAny locals in the bar. We stayed in the family room. It was very clean... More

Staff very friendly, breakfast great, nice cozy restaurant with highland charm but overall hotel very tired and needs updating. Our room was fine and that is all that describes it. New bathroom that was immaculate clean linens but something was lacking ie a female touch. It needs cozying up and the room bringing together. There is great potential here. Also... More

My husband and I were in the area to see Loch Ness and ended up at the Benleva when recommended by a local we met. We only wanted a drink to get a feel of the area. It was warm and cozy, small and inviting. We experienced great local brews and several great local whiskies. We sat at the bar... More

I stayed in the Benleva by chance. It was frigid cold and I wanted a bite to eat. From suggestion by a local, I discovered Benleva. It was a little out of the way, but inside I found a warm pub and roaring fireplace. There was even a really sweet dog who came and went to sleep by my chair.... More

We didn't stay at this hotel or eat there but simply called in for a few beers during our stay in Drumnadrochit. It is a little out of the centre of town itself but easily walkable - we walked there on the way back from a visit to Urquhart Castle. The pub itself is quite run down and in need... More
