My husband and I had planned this into out Scotland trip. We booked easily by email. The manager was very helpful and we called to confirm our accommodations along with arrival time. The hobbits were great. There was plenty of room for two people. They have also thought a lot about privacy, plants are growing between hobbits. There is a... More

We hired two hobbit houses at 7pm by booking over the phone from newcastle. The gentleman kindly waited up for us until we'll after midnight for our arrival. Hobbit houses were absolutely spot on, location was amazing and the facilities were perfectly well kept and clean. Will definitely be making a return visit but promise to arrive at a more... More

How hostels have changed. We stayed here for 5 nights - great location for munro bagging. Well organised kitchen - other hostels can learn from this, own cupboard space and own shelf in fridge. Rooms very spacious, clean ensuite. Everything you could need and the weather was generally good.

I stayed in this hostel for 3 nights. It is in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, amazing scenery and very close to Glen Afric. It is a great base for day trips, cycle runs and forest walks. The hostel itself, is clean, modern and very comfortable with huge bathrooms. There is also a lovely meeting area... More

This place was awesome: clean, friendly and nice rooms. The host was a genuinely lovely lovely guy who made sure everything was good and that the rooms are looked after. I highly recommend staying here for good value in the Loch Ness area.

I stayed in BCC Loch Ness Hostel a couple of long weekends over this summer whilst hiking in the nearby hills. The rooms are clean with a decent size toilet which enables you to get out of any wet gear and pop straight into a hot shower. The beds are comfortable and warm, there is also a wall mounted TV.... My mum and I arrived at the hostel having booked a hobbit for the weekend as a treat for my mum who is recovering from being sick. When we arrived it was a building site, not wanting to moan been British and all I asked nicely if we could possibly have a room in the house at all as my... More

We have booked twin room and was a little disappointed since they didn't look as good as in the pictures. But the room was clean and comfortable. WiFi only in the dinning area which is not very comfortable. Kitchen is huge so several people can cook at the same time. If you have a car and want to stay near... More

I've often thought that hostels would be perfect if you could have a room to yourself, and that is just what you get here. The downside is that it costs more than a conventional hostel at about £40 for a double room. For one person that is a bit steep, but reasonable for 2 or more. The owner may allow... More

We have stayed in a lot of hostels and this is the best one ever :) The rooms are modern, clean, warm and the beds are extra comfy, just what we needed after a Ben Nevis hike. The kitchen and dining room are spacious and well equipped. Brilliant value for money.
