Used one of the lodges as our base for the week of what was chiefly a walking holiday. In this part of Scotland the population is so sparse that options are relatively limited and this met one of our main criteria of being within walking distances of great food and drink (at the Kylesku Hotel) so we did not have... Overall, the lodges are very good. They are in a lovely location with fantastic views, however for some reason it is exceptionally windy in the area, perhaps to do with the shape of the mountains. The lodges are well maintained and to my eye they have rather tasteful furniture and decor. The sofas are incredibly comfy. My only complaints are... More

We went for a weeks holiday to the kylesku lodges a few years ago and have great memories! We will definitely go back as it was one of the best holidays in scotland we have had. The views from the balcony were amazing and loved the fact the local pub was within walking distance. The weather wasn't great but we... More

The lodges are cosy, clean and comfortable, and the wide balcony doors overlook the loch and Quinag mountain, so the view is fantastic. It's such a pretty and peaceful place you could easily enjoy just staying in the lodge and not going out at all. Andre is friendly and helpful too. Our only slight downside was that our lodge didn't... More

After staying in the same lodge every year for 14 years (some years more than once),i am so sad to know i won't be staying again. This is no reflection on Kylesku, the lodges or Andre,i have bought a static caravan nearby as i enjoy the winter in The Highlands and that would be my only gripe about Kylesku Lodges, they are closed... We have just returned from a weeks stay in Kylesku Lodges, on arrival we were met by Andre, the owner who was very happy to tell us about the local area and what to see, the lodges were very comfortable and the view from the lounge would be difficult to beat. if you want peace, tranquility and remoteness this is... Can only really echo what others have said about the stunning views from the lodges, and great things to do in the area - we spent some days walking, driving around and a day sea kayaking, and you soon find yourself relaxing into the pace of life. Despite some days of wet and windy weather the lodges were warm and... More

If ever you manage to tear yourself away from the superb views of Quinag that face you from your veranda then you'll find the lodges are in a handy location for exploring all of the north west highlands. The lodges themselves are very comfortable and cosy so even if you just wish to laze around and relax then you'll have... More

We wanted a get-way-from-it-all holiday....and that's just what we got. As other reviewers have said - great location with access to stunning scenery, hotel with pub and restaurant food within 8 minute walk, and very comfortable accommodation (comfortable bed, good kitchen, cozy main room with great sofas (had heating on a lot of the time!). Great view to loch and... More

I was very happy to find these lodges on the internet and booked a week in September, hoping for some good hiking weather. It rained half the time but the lodge was so lovely and the view from the balcony so stunning that we really didn't mind! Very well equipped and comfy, with 3 bedrooms (we only needed one) and...
