Run by the delightful Alexandra, Aiden House is a purpose built B&B at the southern edge Durness with commanding views over the village and coast. This modern timber built property is furnished in a modern style to a very high standard. Rooms are spacious with great views and facilities. The only possible downside is at being at the far end... Spent one night here and were delighted with the accommodation. Everything was very high spec and beautifully done - except the blinds which we couldn't work ! Breakfast excellent, lovely fruit and kippers. Alexandra very helpful when my phone wouldn't work and made some calls for me. Good on other advice too.

We were warmly welcomed by our host in this nice woodenhouse, with an elegant decoration. The breakfast was delicious with fresh Scottish salmon, probably the best smoked salmon we've ever had. The house is a bit noisy but the view it offers is wonderful.

I visited Durness in April, and was surprised to have such amazing weather. I was on a mission to find out family tree connections, and Aiden House B&B was in just the right location. The owner Alexandra was so easygoing, she gave us tips for where to get meals and where to walk for lovely views and to research the... More

Aiden House is situated most beautifully on the edge of Durness, with wonderful views towards the setting sun. We found our room to be spacious, modern and clean, with every amenity we could require for our 3 night stay. Alexandra gave us a warm welcome, and was keen to give us as much helpful information as she could. We appreciated... More

A friend and myself just returned from a 4 day fishing holiday in Durness. Our stay at Aiden House was fantastic. The accomodation is modern, very clean, very warm, and breakfast on each of the days we stayed was enough to set you up for the day. Alexandra and Kenny were excellent hosts and would recommend staying at this B&B... More

We fully agree with all the positive comments about Aiden House from the warm welcome from Alxandra, the lovely home with great views and the excellent breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Alexandra from escorting us to a hairdresser to recommending and booking somewhere to eat.

We really enjoyed our two night stay. Alexandra was a very warm and welcoming host, full of useful advice regarding local places of interest. The most amazing breakfasts we have had to date! I have no hesitation in recommending this B&b.

We have never been to Durness before. What a fab place we were thrilled when we pulled up outside our chosen Bed and Breakfast. A huge Modern Wooden Built building very impressive from the outside and the inside. We were greeted by the owners sister and shown our room No One on the Top Floor. A superb room very modern...
