Lovely little B&B and a very welcome bed on a wet & windy night. Morag makes you feel very welcome and the rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and there was a wash basin in the room. The toilet & shower are downstairs but this didn't prove to be any kind of inconvenience as... More

I really enjoyed our night at this B&B on our cycling tour of the NW of Scotland. Very comfortable, clean and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Next door is a very acceptable restaurant in the Smoo Cave Hotel.

We stayed 1 night at this B&B. The owners were very welcoming and the room was large, clean and comfortable. They recommended a very good restaurant that was just beside their B&B. Typical Scottish Highland hospitality.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. Perfect spot because it has an amazing view over the ocean and a pub/restaurant next door. The owner is very welcoming and lovely host. Best Scottish homemade breakfast. The area has several nice hikes and in summer supposingly even more stuff to do. Would stay here again.

We stayed in Morven for one night. The room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, as much for us, as our German Shepherd. I practically got two breakfasts squeezed on my plate so didn't go around hungry. As I'm training our dog, we got a demonstration of sheep herding, which was... More

Stayed 2 nights sept/oct with my son and daughter at short notice. We had room 3 at the front of the house which comfortably slept all 3 of us and we found it very clean and warm. Although not being en-suite, for us it was not a problem. Morag and Neil were very welcoming and the cooked breakfasts were the... More

Friendly and comfortable place to stay, with the convenience of a nice pub next door! Room was good and though we had a shared bathroom it was clean and well presented. Convenient for (practically sitting over) Smoo cave and a short trip in the car to the rest of Durness. But with the pub / hotel next door no need... More

We much enjoyed our one night stay at Morven and greatly appreciated the friendliness of Morag and Neil who made us feel very welcome. Morag's big breakfast certainly set us up for the day! Yes, it is important to know that one doesn't have en suite, but that shouldn't detract from the clean and comfortable accommodation and the warmth of... More

Stayed for 2 nights with my family in August 2013. My wife, daugher (1yr old) and I had a large room at the front of the house (Double bed and 2 single beds), and there was still room for a travel cot. Rooms were clean, although not en-suite we did have a sink in the room which was good. Morag... More

I just came back from a touring trip of Scotland with my family and the five of us (three teenagers) stayed three wonderful nights at Morven. We toured Cape Wrath and this part of the highlands by day and were taken care of by Morag and Neil the rest of the time. Breakfast was a masterpiece, cheerfully served by both... More
