My wife and I travelled to Dornoch to play the legendary Royal Dornoch golf course(it was fabulous). Our stay in Dornoch at the Amalfi B&B was wonderful. Edward & Marelle are not normal B&B hosts. They go way beyond what you might expect. They go out of their way to ensure you feel really welcome, but all in a relaxed and... More

From the moment you enter the b&b you are made to feel very welcome. The friendly hosts are extremely knowledgeable about the area and are helpful and happy to advise on places to visit and eat. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast has to be experienced - expertly prepared using selected local produce. The b&b is at... More

We stayed at the Amalfi for six nights and would have loved to stay longer. We travel extensively and like to stay in B&Bs--this was the best one ever! Marelle and Edward couldn't have been more helpful in arranging golf tee times and providing restaurant recommendations, both in Dornoch and surrounding towns. The breakfasts were great and the company of... More

We found Amalfi via tripadvisor and were very impressed when we arrived, Edward and Marelle were very welcoming and we felt it was home from home. They gave us lots of helpful information and arranged a golf tee time and booked places to eat for us. The list of things for breakfast was extensive and delicious. Nothing was too much... More

Three golfers stayed here 1 week ago at the beginning of out Scottish adventure and I couldn't be happier with our choice of town and B&B . Marrelle is a wonderful modest hostess who makes a great Scottish breakfast and is so friendly welcoming and funny. Edward goes the extra mile to tell you about the local area , both... More

I was on a golfing and fishing trip with my father, my friend and his father. It's perfect for that because it's close to the beach and to the golf course. Very close to the course, just a short walk. Great rooms and very comfortable beds. Free Wi-fi. They serve really good breakfast in the morning at any time you... More

Stayed here on 12th June. Only complaint is that it was not for longer. Edward and Marelle met me and my wife at the door for introductions.
