My husband and I plus our 2 dogs stayed here for a short break. we received a very warm welcome from both human and doggy parties!. Our room was spacious, clean and equipped with all the usual amenities. The B&B is right next to the golf course if you're interested or a short walk to the town centre or beach.... more

My wife and I recommend the Amalfi for those of you who wish to golf (like I did) and for those who do not (like my wife). We stayed at the Amalfi House for three nights in the middle of September. It is situated in an ideal location: a short, four minute stroll from the center of town and, more... more

We (my wife & myself) only stayed for one night but nevertheless we were very impressed with the Amalfi B & B. Quick summary: very friendly hosts; great location (5 mins from beach & from town centre); large modern room; excellent breakfast (surely a contender for 'breakfast of the year' award) and two lovely dogs! Easy access to the A9... more

We have no negative comments to make about the Amalfi as a B and B venue. The hosts, Marelle and Edward, are friendly and welcoming, the breakfast sets you up for the day, the accomodation is comfortable and the facilities excellent. The Amalfi is 5 minutes walk from the Royal Dornoch links and is close to the Town Centre while... more

From the moment she answered the door, I could tell that this was a lady who took great pride in making her guests feel at home, without being overbearing in any way. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was good, and our landlady welcoming and fun. more

Breakfast was wonderful with an excellent selection of sausages and haggis. The room was well appointed with en-suite and king bed. Marelle went out of... more

On our way from Dufftown up North to the Highlands we decided to stay 1 night in Dornoch. When entering town we saw the sign of 'no vacancies' everywere. We came to a T crossing and the sign Beach to the right. We went in that direction and found the last house before the Golf course, a B&B with the... more

I discovered Amalfi as I was researching a golf trip to Dornoch. They have a nice website, and i was attracted by "the closest B&B to the first tee".It is located adjacent to the Struie course, and is a short walk to the clubhouse, and Championship course,at Royal Dornoch. It is also short walking distance to the town center, and all the dinner or pub fascilities... more
