Having to find another hotel at short notice after leaving early from a really dreadful establishment earlier in the day in the remote Hiighlands our group of five fishermen and walking wives found shelter in the Eddrachilles Hotel . What a contrast to our last hotel. Richard the owner and manager was a fine host. Wonderful food cooked by his... More

I stayed in this hotel last week for one night. My family and I booked in for B&B and evening meal. The hotel is wonderfully positioned on the coast in a really remote spot. It was a relief to find after a long drive from Invergarry. The hotel is nice enough - a little dated, but the rooms are cosy... More

Eleven of us stayed for three nights we were on a classic car club trip. What a great find. Comfortable hotel, very clean, with a wonderful view. Dinner was amazing each evening, a choice of three starters and three mains and loads of wonderful sweets, needed to stay longer to have a taste of them all! Breakfast really yummy with... More

We stayed two nights and I am somewhat reluctant to review this hotel because I want to be able to return without the hotel being fully booked! It was to us just about the best value for money I have ever experienced in any hotel, anywhere! We enjoyed excellent food, a very comfortable room, well furnished with an astonishing sea... More

We stayed 3 nights here and had our meals here also. Richard made us feel welcome in this charming highland hotel. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. An excellent range of breakast goodies was available every morning, as much as you could eat to set you up for... More

This hotel was just incredible! The Service (the owner is the "butler", head I'd service and receptionist and his wife the chef in the kitchen) was perfect, friendly and helpful. But now the main thing: the food served at dinner was really just amazing. The best food I've had in Scotland so far. Salmon fillet as a starter, poached salmon... More

We had a delicious two course lunch here for my birthday. The welcome and service were very good, the food excellent, especially the fresh, local hake I had. The teenagers really enjoyed the BBQ pulled pork. Will recommend.

We had a most enjoyable three nights at the Eddrachilles Hotel near Scourie. This is the perfect base for excellent adventures around the area. Our first to Handa Island - a short boat ride - and then a walk around the island to see the amazing bird life and the absolutely stunning views. Thank goodness for digital cameras as we... More

Imagine a cold wet day in the North West Highlands of Scotland, driving down from Durness to Lochinver and looking for somewhere to eat. Hungry after an hour in the bird hide at Scourie we went down the road a bit and took a punt on seeing the small sign for the Eddrachilles Hotel who claim "From 12 to 2... More

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights during a tour of Scotland. We had a comfortable room at the rear (No. 10) with views to die for, overlooking Badcall Bay. The food, especially seafood, was very good and freshly cooked, served in the conservatory, also with views over Badcall Bay. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the walks... More
