We stayed here recently before flying out from Glasgow Airport and thought the hotel was great apart from a slightly expensive bar tariff. Our deal include 15 nights parking, breakfast and transport to the Airport. Rooms were spotlessly clean with loads of space. Breakfast buffet included everything you could possibly want. This deal was booked via Superbreak for £88 per... more

Had a weekend break while racing at Braehead Snowdome, Glynhill in the perfect spot to get to Braehead quickly, had a wonderful buffet breakfast each morning and ate in the Carvery on the Saturday night. The meal was lovely and the staff coped as the Restaurant was full, there was also a themed night on in the Hotel but we... more

The hotel is a 10/15min drive from Glagow city centre (£11 in taxi provided you don't use black cabs - these charge £20+). Its also near the airport (although you can't hear the planes. You can hear the cars on the main road if your room is at the front of the hotel - the noise isn't unbearable but the... more

Family room was very clean and large, in the Gold Wing, but it was a trek to get there from reception. The hotel appears to be undergoing a major refurbishment, the bar area looked like a working mans club, and some of the decor was in need of updating. The liesure facilities are good although the pool was cold and... more

I paid £155 to stay in an upgraded room with my girlfriend on valentines day this year. The room was a little small but nice and clean! The waitress was useless, we had a chinese lady that didnt understand much English and when I ordered a steak and asked for it medium rare she said the chef only knows how... more

Stayed for five nights. Jan 2009 The room at the front of the hotel was fine, but very small. Bathroom clean. Bed comfortable. Room a bit stuffy and window opens only slightly. Not much floorspace /deskspace/storage. Alas, tried the food on the first night. Nothing of note for my vegetarian colleague, and the rest was pretty mundane. Ate for the... more

They have spent a lot of money upgrading some of the bedrooms which are to an aquired taste, great they put the lift in, really needed as it is a myriad of corridors and staircases. Most staff great except females - review writer in 2005 had it right. Senior female management very poor. Used to be great when old Harry... more
