We stayed overnight before flying out on holiday, we ate in the carvery which was really good. The leisure facilities were lovely and relaxed us before going out for a meal that night. Rooms clean and comfortable, lovely toiletries for us to use. We parked our car there and used the courtesy bus to the airport and the driver was... More

We had spent a week or so travelling around the UK staying in B&Bs, so booked a night at the Glynhill for a bit a change. It was a good decision. B&Bs might have their charms but they invariably have their eccentricities too. So it was great to find ourselves in a room where we actually had space to set... More

Stayed here whilst away with work, it did the job and was close enough to the airport. Not much outside of the hotel, would definitely look elsewhere and stay in the centre of Glasgow next time. Rooms looking tired. Breakfast average. Service on the front desk was a plus.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review, sorry our location was not what you expected. Whilst being only a mile away from the airport the hotel is located in a suburban area, we appreciate some guest like this and some don't. Sounds very much that you may have stayed in one of our standard rooms, these are due for refurbishment... More

My sister and I booked the Carvary for Father's Day. We were not disappointed. The price is fantastic, the food is varied (even my veggie sister had a great meal) and delicious and the service is efficient. For £16.50 we all had a four course meal then coffee. We were left alone to enjoy our meal and never felt pressured... More

Me and 5 friends attended the motown tribute night at the Glynhill to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. It was fantastic. The rooms were gorgeous. Recently refurbished. The food was excellent both dinner and breakfast and the staff were excellent. A special mention to Tom who couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend a stay in this hotel.

Booked through booking.com on a pay later option, however hotel took payment straight away. Resulted in £139 of bank charges. Hotel was so unhelpful and would not assist in any way. Had to cancel our £160 booking to cover our £139 charges and left with no accommodation. Shame as this is a big hotel but cannot help out a young... More

Good welcome on arrival -.and was given an upgrade to what I think was a Club Room. This was very spacious and comfortable. The only thing I couldn't quite understand was why there is no bathroom door! The whole room is "Open Plan" - ok for me on my own, but if, as should have been the case, I was... More

We stayed on the second floor located near the swimming pool area. Our room was a bit tired looking, cracked tiles in the bathroom, poor shower but really those things were the least of our worries. The doors into the rooms are very heavy so unforunately every time another guest shut their door are door would shake. The corridor floorboards... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. Our standard floor accommodations are due for refurbishment later in the autumn and will be completed by early 2016. The heavy doors and squeaking floorboards will have been taken care of. I sincerely hope you had a more relaxing stay with us on your return visit, customer comfort and satisfaction is of the...
