Stayed at the Glynhill on the week-end of the 4th 5th July as part of a patchwork and quilting week-end. It was a very good choice of hotel. The room was spotless, food fabulous and the staff excellent.

Situated on a dreary and busy road on the border of Renfrew. Let's not say anything else about the location, they can't move the place elsewhere after all! Outside of the hotel has had some work done recently I suspect, or it's been well maintained, as it does look quite inviting. Parking was plenty and free. Inside it's very plain... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review. The hotel is situated in the sub city location of Renfrew which is also the historical "Cradle of The Royal Stewart's". Many people choose the hotel because of it's location to local businesses and also the close vicinity to Glasgow International Airport. Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel.... More

Stayed for 1 night in this hotel, was expecting so much more.On arrival,I was met by a receptionist who could hardly be bothered to make eye contact, hardly welcoming,She just pointed the general of the room. After climbing stairs, not very clean,I found the room, what a disappointment,it was basic, some lights not working. When I thought this place could'nt get any worse,It was dinner in the... Just arrived home from spending a great two nights in the Glynhill hotel. Some of my siblings gave us this break as a gift for my husbands 65th but the family also joined us to enable us to celebrate my brothers 50th. We went to the "dirty dancing "theme night which was excellent. The meal served was outstanding. All courses... More

Not much good things to say about this hotel thats good except food, staff in bistro clare was very good and obliging, reception very little to be desired especially the young male , not what I expected for a 4 star, rooms are no way near being rated as 4star hotel , there are damp patches on bathroom ceiling ,... Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your online review and also your email which I received today on return from days off. What your review describes is indeed hideous, and I refer to the young men who thought it acceptable to whistle sectarian tunes in a public bar, this is not acceptable anywhere. This incident was dealt with swiftly and directly... More

From the outside this hotel looks great. there is a nice new front and they look like there's lots of work going on. The rooms however were extremely hot (even in Scotland) and not very clean with visible signs of mould and damp. The view out of the window was not the best which looked like a stack of porta-cabins... More

We recently held our wedding in the glynhill and I can honestly say the whole day, service and reception went completely perfectly. The staff in the hotel were paramount to making the day so perfect and smooth. Tom the duty manager who was in charge of our day took care of every little detail and made the whole experience of... This was a overnight stay on our way home from the 'Scottish Trains' coach tour with our local coach company. Writing reviews on most coach party type hotels is normally a bit mundane and most are very similar but this one really was something different. This is a large purpose built hotel, plenty of space in the room, clean and... More

I didn't have such a pleasant stay. Delayed check in, stood outside for 20 minutes whilst the fire alarm was sorted out. No apologies from the miserable receptionist who taled to me like a robot. There was no wifi signal in my room which I needed as had work emails to do. I rang reception to ask if here was... More
