Stayed 3 nights to attend a wedding. The rooms are like saunas and the wedding venue is even hotter and stuffier, which sadly made the wedding reception very uncomfortable. The wedding organiser was at best, unnecessarily unpleasantly abrupt and discourteous and at worst, a rude, egotistical and arrogant man, with no personal skills whatsoever. Completely inadequate seating, leaving elderly and... More

My husband and myself stopped at this hotel for 2 nights while on an organised coach trip to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The hotel could not be faulted. Although it was very busy, the staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. We had 1 evening meal... My friend and I stayed here for three nights from the 20/8/14. We had a most enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly and I would definately recommend eating in the carvery restaurant.

If you get upgraded to club rooms (reception try to accomodate this which is much appreciated) the stay is pleasant enough though the 'finishes' are not great and i can see these rooms becoming shabby quite quicky. Service in the restaurant could be a bit more customer focussed, most of the staff look like they dont want to be there.... More

We stayed here for one night with my parents. My mother is mobility impaired and uses a wheelchair or scooter to get around. She cannot walk. There is one lift in the whole hotel and it was out of order the night we stayed. There are no accessible rooms on the ground floor and the staircase does not have proper... More

We stopped here while visiting an event at the SECC, the hotel is clean and well done out but what really makes this place stand out is the staff, they are all so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We had both the breakfast buffet and the evening buffet, both of which were great and good value for money.... More

Good food , excellent bedrooms but if you go at weekends when there is a "function" on make sure you ask for a room on the second floor . If you are sleeping on the first floor you will be subject to the "thump, thump , thump" of the DJs speakers and these events are not due to finish until... More

We come here most Christmas seasons for a Christmas dinner and it has been going downhill over the last few years. In fact we have decided this year to go elsewhere, mainly because of the price. It has bee getting more and more expensive for less and less. The staff are very friendly and are clearly trying their best in... More

My husband and I were married in the Glynhill hotel recently and we had the most perfect day! Starting with the preparations for our day every question was answered promptly and staff were always extremely pleasant. On the day of our wedding everything went to plan! The meal was delicious, we had so many compliments from our guests about the... More
