Was really pleasantly surprised - although a year old, it looked brand new still when I stayed there in June. Yes the rooms are sparse, but they were clean and damp free (unlike some of the other Travelodges I have stayed at). I think I paid 29 pounds per night, so great value. Prices like that with good, basic accomadation has allowed us to travel round the country when other self-catering places and hotels are looking at ripping people off during school holidays. Built last year I believe. I had a lovely large room & ensuite and it was basic but very clean. Towels provided. Flat screen wall mounted TV and coffee/ tea facilities were provided.The room overlooked the road which was very noisy as were the people leaving the bars which closed at 1 am.
