We stopped at this hotel for lunch at the end of a magnificent Scottish holiday …what a disappointing end! The Drummond is set in a beautiful spot but that's where my compliments end! The hotel itself is a bit dark and dingy and the toilets feel a bit grotty. The high chair we were presented with was dirty. The food... more

Although we only had lunch in the hotel I just thought I had to let people know how terrible we found it. We watied an hour for food which we didn't enjoy. The public areas are run down and the service wasn't great either. I certainly wouldn't go back and urge anyone thinking of staying in the area to look... more

We stayed here 1 night as part of a group of 15 couples on a classic car tour of Scotland. It was our last night and we had hoped for a special evening - how wrong can you be! When we arrived, we found half the rooms have no shower (the manageress's comment was "well this is a Victorian Hotel... more

Websites have a lot to answer for! We looked at the photos and believed that it would be a lovely place to stay for Hogmanay. The location is great but we certainly did not get a refurbished room. Maybe the fact that there was still vacancies the day before new year's eve should have alerted us - half empty hotel... more

Having waited over an hour for a lunch of 2 baguettes, we were told that they would take another 15 mins at least. As we had just seen other people send their meals back, we left in disgust. What a dreadful example of Scottish hospitality. Moira Mc Edinburgh more

I must say that I strongly disagree with most of the reviews on her about the Drummond Hotel, I held my wedding there on 11th August 2007 and we couldn’t have been happier with the service we received. Granted the hotel isn’t a 5* hotel it is a family run hotel that we found to be must better as we... more

We had our wedding at the Drummond Hotel last weekend. The wedding was fantastic and well organised. The hotel did an excellent job with the amount of people that were there. We booked every room and everyone that stayed enjoyed the place. The setting is fantastic. With regards to some of the other reviews below - if you want 5... more

We were invited by friends to join them at this hotel to celebrate my partners 40th birthday, I am sad to say that it was a complete disaster. The table was booked for 7:30 due to one of the group being heavilly pregnant, we were directed to the bar in the expectation that the fod order would be taken this... more

We decided to stay at the Drummond Hotel as we were attending a wedding locally. I must say that after reading the previous reviews I was a little apprehensive about what we was going to get! However, after staying at the Drummond I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The location and the setting was fantastic, I found the... more

What a location, What a building, What a disaster. When you first lay eyes on the Hotel and the Loch it almost takes your breath away, i couldn't wait to check in and tyhen get some food and go and sit by the Loch. That's where it all went wrong for us!!!! The owners are downright rude and unhelpful (it... more

Management response from
TheDrummondHotel, Partner

Difficult to respond to this entry as we did not have a Charles Browne that stayed in April and do not have any record or recollection of a group of friends that were unhappy with their meal and with their stay. Staff and management here are always upfront and honest with our guests. Value for money is always a personal...
