We arrived at Woodlands b&b and were warmly greatest by Heather and Cedric, welcomed in to their home and shown to our room, which was lovely, clean, bright and warm. We were then shown in to the guest lounge, this was a real bonus, log during stove, lovely and comfortable setees and great views of their garden area. Ample tea,... More

Heather and Cedric couldn't have been more welcoming. We had a comfortable, nicely decorated bedroom and our own bathroom with bath and shower. The B&B is set in beautiful wooded surroundings in the pretty village of Glenfarg. What a treat !

Been to many B&Bs but not many you get the chance to join in rounding up the chickens in the garden (not compulsory) the eggs for breakfast are wonderful. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly with advice given on local walks. Rooms are immaculate and include a shared lounge complete with TV and woodturning stove,

What a find! Cedric and Heather are the most welcoming hosts. We felt at home after 5 minutes. Service , food, room, bed all the best so far during last 3 weeks in Scotland. Fabulous village atmosphere, looking forward to dinner tonight at local inn. Their children baked a lemon drizzle cake which they shared with us - fabulous. Making... More

This was a sadly fleeting visit to this B&B as we were on a long distance walk and only staying one night in each. We are however seasoned B&B visitors and these walks and after 5 such walks and perhaps 50 B&Bs this was definitely the best - not only in terms of the accommodation but also the food and... More

This was a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I booked last minute and we are very glad that we did. The owners were so welcoming and helpful that we felt that we were in a home from home. The breakfast was superb and massive and they catered for myself (vegan) and my husband (Veggie) at a last minutes... More

My fiance and I stayed here for two nights through the recommendation of a local friend and it totally exceeded our expectations! The room was gorgeously decorated and the bed was the most comfortable one we had during our two week romp through the UK. Cedric and Heather were super welcoming and flexible, allowing us to check in at 10:45pm... More

My stay at Woodlands was far too brief! En route to Leuchars Air show with my daughter, we broke our journey in Glenfarg. The location is so handy for the motorway but totally peaceful and secluded. Ideal, too, for a longer stay, I'd say, especially as guests have exclusive use of the lovely big sitting room, so you're not restricted... More

We were delighted with this very clean, comfortable and cosy Bed and Breakfast. Rooms were tastefully furnished and soft furnishings added colour to the cosy rooms. Food was delicious - with a good selection of fresh fruit, fruit juices, yogurts and cereals. Cooked 'full Scottish' breakfast was fresh and hot with ample tea and toast available. The guest lounge was... More
