We stayed last weekend for one night. As a family of 5 which includes two adult sized kids (aged 14 and 12) and one 10 year old, we find it terribly hard to get any accommodation which can sleep us all in one room so, after reading the positive reviews on trip advisor, we were delighted when we found James... The B&B was clean and Michael the owner was helpful, very helpful. He provided us with a flask of hot water when he heard we had planned a long walk in the area. The bed was comfortable and the room was more than adequate. The breakfast was good and filling for the day. I had informed Michael that we would... More

My husband and I booked in as we were attending a wedding a crieff hydro. Michael was most accommodating in letting us check in early so we had the keys etc before the wedding. The room was 'homely' and spacious. Lovely comfortable mattress and great nights sleep. Nice big shower - couldn't fault it. Breakfast, I had said we would... More

We were made feel very welcome from the minute we arrived the owner Michael was an excellent host and very friendly nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and we loved the quirkiness and character of the house. We will definitely be back for another visit. George and violet glasgow

Went down for 1 nights stay and couldn't have had a warmer welcome, on arrival. Michael was extremely friendly and helpful. Double room was spacious and comfortable. Both had full breakfasts, which were "just what the doctor ordered". Will definitely go again.

Michael was incredibly welcoming, went for an overnighter stayed 3. Will be back. Best b&b we have been to in the UK. Breakfast was massive and fresh. Rooms cleaner than clean. Bloody fantastic! Cant wait to go again.

Michael is extremely pleasant and what we read before ia absolutely true. We visited during Ryder Cup weekend and had an absolutely wonderful week. Great location, Crieff has good restaurants as well. Warm breakfast everyday cooked to your wishes. Michael gives great advice as to golf and other attractions. Rooms are cozy and nothing is missing.

Fantastic B & B ! A group of us have golfed at Crieff for many years and by good fortune discovered Michael's excellent Guest House on our first visit. We do not hesitate to return to James Cottage when we are in Crieff. I would recommend you try the warm friendly atmosphere of James Cottage and the fabulous breakfast prepared... More

Michael was extremely welcoming upon arrival, and helpful to point out things to do in the area The B&B is a little in need of some updating, but the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable Visitors Centre down the road is worth a visit, as is the Christmas Shop over the road. Good Indian in the town, about... More
