To be honest this place does not look very inviting from the outside it being on the main street as you travel through the town. Appearances however can be very deceptive. What a lovely welcome. What a shame about the room (Rm 4). Won't stay again. The overall welcome was ruined by a room that wasn't fit for anything and was overpowered by the smell of damp. The breakfast was lovely but everything was ruined by the state of the room. The crieff hotel used to be lovely

I returned for 3rd stay here ... had room 3 the best for me; as cosy, warm and good views... I found all the staff friendly and welcoming......the manager goes out of his way to provide gold star treatment, in supplying extra pillows, being concerned when you dont arrive earlyish for breakfast !! and always giving superb cooked breakfasts......the room...
