Good sized double room, clean and well stocked.Hotel near centre of town but with unusual car parking facilities. Has numerous facilities but many were closed during our stay due to a convention. Staff very helpful but food served both at breakfast and dinner is dreadfull due to it being cold. Despite sending it back the hotel seems to think that... more

We stayed on a Sunday evening and paid £85 DBB standard room for two. However, we were upgraded to an executive room (good size and clean, with a good sized bathroom)after showing an email, following a discussion with reservations - stating that we could ask for a upgrade on the day. It was excellent value, but watch out for hidden... more

9 of my family stayed at creiff hydro last weekend for my mums 60th. It was meant to be a treat but I was very dissapointed. Our family room had marked walls, stains on the bedding and was very tired. It was the kind of room where I didn't want to walk barefoot on the carpet and wished I'd packed... more

We celebrated our Fortieth Wedding Anniversary in a Lodge. Five adults and two young children. The Lodge was spacious and clean. I little tired but comfortable. The location was good with wonderful views over Crieff and open countryside. We stayed three days. The children would have liked to have ridden the horses, but this was not possible. We liked The... more

Somehow I expected more from the Crieff Hydro. This was my first stay. The place looks like it could do with sprucing up. The corridors have dingy carpet, and the floors seem quite rickety. My single room was comfy but quite small, and did not seem to have any heating on, which made for quite a cold night. The room... more

Hotel looked great on the web site. Plenty activities for the kids. Got there and the staff were rude (except for one), the room we were shown was very shabby and drab. We went to the Brasserie for lunch and after a 25 minute wait for a sandwich, the bread the was hard. This was replaced by a different type... more

we booked a self catering lodge for 2 nights for 4 people for £130, bargain!! We were not expecting much but were pleasantly suprised. The kitchen and living room were really nice with two bedrooms, 1 twin+1 bunk beds. There was a dvd player+cd player in the living room. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need + a... more

We stayed here for a long weekend, the facilities are excellent, the hotel is ideal for families with young children, parents can leave the kids entertained all day and can make the most of the Spa etc. I would recommend this hotel to anybody with young children. My only slight moan would be that it is not the cheapest of... more

This is first time ever writing review but felt so strongly to prewarn other guests. Family rooms are not what they seem. It is a triple room with a temporary bed placed in roomand we booked an "executive family room". The hotel thought this was acceptable. The childrens dinner time is complete chaos. The hotel was overbooked. On two occasions... more

We have been visting Crieff for years and make allowances for slip ups. This year we were specifically promised last year's lovely adjoining rooms, but then not given them on arrival. A really sloping bed in a really sloping room gave me a sleepless night. At 4am I went to complain and they gave us a room which was near... more
