Fantastic campsite just wished we had discovered this a few years ago! If you've a bike even better great bike tracks for all levels, lovely setting very peaceful and perfect for families, great choice of camping areas, we chose to stay in a kata which was great fun, very cosy, beds a bit hard but definitely more comfortable than camping.... This was our first visit to Comrie croft camping in the low meadow due to its proximity to the amenities as we have 4 year old twins. It definitely won't be our last. The location and views are stunning, lots of walks to explore, ropes to swing on and a pond to throw stones in. There is also bike hire... More

Brilliant little enterprise, we turned up hired 4 mountain bikes, and had a great afternoon on the bike trails which were exhilarating and catered for all levels of riders. Afterwards we went to the little cafe where we had lovely soup, sandwiches and massive cakes. Really great day.

Camping in the woods, by the centre or up on the high meadow where the views are superb. High meadow = hill. Difficult to load / unload camping kit as cars can't go to high meadow so a bit of effort required. New Eco loo installed. Great idea but need more for that area and should be designated girls /... I decided to visit this camp site for my first ever camping holiday with my two boys. We stayed in the woodland area and I was pleased with my choice. Nice clear flat area under a tree for pitching the tent. Each pitch has a fire pit and there a few rope swings dotted about. Decent space between each pitch... More

Just been for a 2 night stay in the woodland pitches, had a brilliant time. Love the whole idea of eco camping, very surprised how good the showers were and checked out the new compost toilets, what a great idea! Only off putting bit was being in pitch 3 as a lot of people walking through our camp because the... More

Just spent a lovely week here in beautiful sunshine. Camped with kids in low meadow and there were a lot of kids around, but although noisy at times still managed moments of serenity with the campfire each night after the kids were in bed. Great easygoing atmosphere, friendly staff and good facilities (although could use an extra shower or two).... More

Just home from a 2 night break staying in the Kata on the lower meadow, this was situated next to the shop, cafe, and showers etc. my wife & I decided to book this as a surprise for our 8 year old granddaughter and none of us were disappointed. Staying in one of the Kata's is something to be experienced... More

Just back from a 2 night stay at Comrie Croft. As someone who hadn't camped since 1998 (and that was at a festival) I wasn't sure if I was going to be a happy camper - on the other hand my wife as a guide leader has camped a few times over the last few years. We booked a pitch... More

Just left the site today after a short 2 night stay in Pitch 8 of the forested part, absolutely brilliant time. My Fiancee had never been camping before and thoroughly enjoyed the little getaway for her Birthday, even the dog had a wee holiday romance :-) DEFINITELY going again and recommending to my friends and family, completely faultless, great hosts...
