Returned today for 2 nights woodland camping. (2 adults, 2 children (8 and 13)) Check-in was easy and directions to plot were clear. You can drive your car close, park and use a wheelbarrow to transport your tent etc to your plot. We were allocated plot 8 which was on a slight slope. It is situated next to a stream,... More

We are just back from 3 glorious nights staying in Kata 4. This Kata is slightly further away from the toilets/showers but the views are stunning and it was so quiet and tranquil. The Kata's are fantastic. They are very well equipped with pretty much everything you could need and the sleeping platforms are so comfy. Once we got the... More

I stayed here for a week and like it so much i had to come back. Andrew and his brother run this charming hostel/ bed and breakfast. The decorations are charming, the surroundings beautiful, rural and welcoming, and the staff very hospitable. If you enjoy country living than this sort of vacation will suit you just fine. It was VERY... More

For various reasons my husband and I were unable to get away for a short break until the first weekend in November, I had come across Comrie Croft earlier in the year whilst searching for wilder camping experiences, but we ended up staying elsewhere as the teen child didnt want to be in the middle of nowhere! My criteria for... More

Lovely site, a short walk or bus ride from Comrie. We stayed with a group on the upper field. Firewood is available, and you are welcome to bring your own. The firewood is overpriced, and operates on an honesty system. I'm unsure if the high price is to offset loss? But at least they allow you to bring your own... More

My friend and I took our kids for a camping weekend here. This was a lot of fun. We had two pitches in the woods. The pitches are excellent, the facilities are clean. We loved being able to have our own fire, definitely a plus. You can buy wood or bring your own. We spent time at the nearby wildlife... More

We stayed in kata 1 at Comrie Croft - a great experience! The kata itself is beautiful, and perfect for 2 (you could fit a few more people in there, if you're friendly). It was well equipped with lots of cooking utensils, fairy lights, blankets, rugs and wood burning stove. We were met by George, who let us get settled... More

Nice, friendly , relaxed site, clean toilets and showers with really hot water. Great coffee shop. Children loved the chickens and the pig Peanut. The bikes kept them occupied for the whole weekend. Definitely one of our favourite camping sites in Scotland.

This was our second trip to Comrie Croft and in a year George and his team have made a lot of improvements to what we thought was already a great place. We stayed in the lower meadow again mainly because our kids are 4 and 6 and it's closest to the toilets and shower block. We also pitched up our... More
