We spent just 1 night at Gleneagles to celebrate my birthday and it was a real treat! On immediate entry to the hotel we were greeted with very friendly and very helpful staff, we were shown to our beautiful spacious room with perfect modern Scottish decor, new bathroom and very comfy surroundings. We then heard a knock at the door... more

We went for a one night spa DB&B break to Gleneagles. I cannot recommend the Spa highly enough - it is superb and the treatments sheer bliss. Our room was good - in the new wing, large, with a real flame effect gas fire, and lovely amenities and very comfy bed. We had a nice lunch in the Dormy House... more

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the hotel and from start to finish the experience was wonderful. Our room whilst at the rear overlooked the tennis courts and the woods which had winter sunshine glinting across them. Breakfast at Gleneagles is always special, dinner in Deseo is relaxed but push the boat out and enjoy an evening meal in... more

We went with my sister in law and her husband who had been to stay 20 years ago and were so looking forward to it. There were good points and bad . The highlights were the breakfast and the outdoor hot tub. The food in the Deseo restaurant was very good and Frank their brilliant chef is to be watched... more

Stayed at Gleneagles with my family in January. We had a fantastic time as the hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and professional and the clay pigeon shooting that we did was amazing. However our room was a huge let down. The decor was tired, the walls and upholstery stained and our bathroom needed a good clean. There was wallpaper... more

Gleneagles had long been on my list of places I wanted to stay. I am a value for money merchant, so looking at the prices had long baulked me from bothering. The opportunity of three nights in a three bedroom lodge on the Glenmor timeshare development came up, at around a quarter of what it would have cost for two... more

Another great break at Gleneagles. Can only really afford to come here when there are offers! Grounds are superb with good walks around the golf courses. Room was great but like all big hotels, stiflingly hot! And this is Feb! Meal in the Strathearn was suberb but the bar prices are high. But, service and breakfasts are excellent. In life,... more

Gleneagles is beautiful and has a great feeling about it, the staff were all very friendly and polite. It is a great place to relax and there is so much to do. Unfortunately all the courses were shut so we didn’t get to play golf but this did mean we had time to explore the other facilities properly. Firstly the... more
