I travelled back to Gleneagles before Christmas, this time in adult company only. It had snowed, the Christmas lights were up, the fires were lit. It was magical. There was a Christmas market in the hotel that was selling lots of quirky items and local produce. Smoked salmon was amazing. We wandered, cycled, swam and sat in the outdoor not... More

I had the pleasure of celebrating my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary with a night at Gleneagles and a meal at Andrew Fairlies. Every aspect about the stay exceeded our expectations. The staff and service was wonderful. The food and accommodation were both spectacular. I have stayed in Gleneagles many times over the last 30 or 40 years but... More

Just sublime with effortless charm and efficiency. Not at all stuffy but don't drive a non-supercar to the entrance...there's a discrete car park instead. More

From the moment you arrive you feel welcome and your cares and stresses just melt away, knowing that for the time you are at Gleneagles you will be well looked after and can truly relax. The spa is superb, although I wish there were more unisex facilities as when you arrive as a couple you want to relax together. Breakfast... More

We stayed for one night at Gleneagles and rarely have i ever fely so relaxed after a one night stay at any hotel. The rooms are wonderful - we had one of the modern Estate rooms (there is also a more traditional option). The room had a large sitting area, a small garden to walk out into, a remote control... I stayed at this property while on a business trip to Scotland last May. From the moment I arrived I felt like royalty. Even though my room was not ready when I arrived, the front desk invited me to relax in the bar while I waited. It wasn't long before my beautiful room in the old section was ready. The... More

Have done this on two occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. The first was a gift voucher from my son and girlfriend and the second time was a birthday celebration with my family. It is basically four course so make sure you are hungry. An appetiser was served first followed by a triple cake stand with beautifully prepared sandwiches,... More

Luxury is the key word at this wonderful location. Service excellent staff cannot do enough for you, friendly and efficient. room was great size and despite there being lots of guests nowhere seemed to busy. Food in deseo needs more attention to detail, although the range of options here made family dining easy. More
