The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are really cosy and very clean however the bed we had was really uncomfortable due to the springs in the mattress going. The couple running the place were absolutely lovely and really friendly and made you very welcome, they have asked the owner of the hotel to make some changes and improvements but... More

My wife, two kids and I recently stayed at Ben Lawers hotel to get away for couple of nights over New Year and can I say what a great time we all had. As it was a small hotel we really had no idea what to expect but from the minute we arrived Ian and Sian made us feel really... More

Really lovely food with good flavours and quality ingredients. Excellent value for big portions. The only minuses were that service was quite slow and the plates were cold. The restaurant/bar was also a little cold, but it is an old building with character. There is also a games room.

We popped in here for a pint on Sunday evening at about 5pm following a walk over near Killin. There was only one lad who seemed to be working and although it was not busy, he had to serve drinks, food and check guests in. Unfortunately, he did not appear to have any manners, and found it impossible to apologise... More

We booked on the day for an extremely reasonable price. The room was small however very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel has a restaurant / bar which was busy with guests and locals Lovely warm friendly atmosphere with great food. Extremely accommodating to my 5 year old - even heated up some warm milk for her Would definitely go... More

Booked an overnight stay and from check-in to check-out our stay was superb. Our wee dog Dylan was even allowed in the bar/restaurant. We had dinner when we arrived, piri-piri chicken caesar salad and a smoked salmon from the 'specials' board. The food was lovely as was the breakfast the following morning. Staff so friendly and attentive. Our room was... More
