The first impression you get of the place is that it is on the main through road, but, this is a Scottish village main road, and the house is set back from the road with good parking. So our room at the back was quiet, even with the window open. Breakfast was excellent, and you can tell that they care... More

Spent three nights here whilst working nearby. The welcome is warm and genuine, the house is extremely well kept and maintained and everything is of the highest quality. Although it is on one of the main streets through Aberfeldy, it is a quiet location and I slept very well. The bed was very comfortable and much thought has been put... More

We decided to have a mid week break, and we're glad we chose Fernbank house and it was so peaceful, the owner was fantastic, and her breakfasts were out of this world, the bedrooms were spotless This lady is a very busy person, but nothing is to much bother to her We will be back in the future.

Thank you for your lovely review. Life has indeed got very busy for me now. I have recently started up a Manicure and Pedicure business as well as continuing to run the Bed and Breakfast. This new venture has proved to be very popular, not only with the locals but also with guests in the Bed and Breakfast. I also... More

We arrived in Aberfeldy after travelling from Arran by motorcycle, we hit heavy rain at Loch Lomond and decided to try to find accommodation, noticed a vacancy sign in the window with a motorcycle welcome sign and got the last room although a family room and bigger than standard the whole guesthouse was super. The room was first class, clean... More

Thank you so much for your excellent review. I'm so glad we were able to accommodate you, especially as you had got wet and needed drying out. Being an ex-motorbike rider, I can appreciate how important it is to have a drying room, plenty of drive to turn around in and a room that you can spread out in. Hope... More

We showed up without a reservation and only stayed one night but our hostess made us feel welcomed. Very lovely room in a beautiful home. Breakfast was outstanding. Husband is a butcher and his specialty sausages are featured at breakfast. You would have no regrets staying here either.

Thank you for your kind review. Having the Butcher's, Macdonald Bros. Ltd., we are able to put a variety of sausages on our breakfast menu. All the sausages, black pudding and haggis are made in our award winning shop. I have also started making my own Strawberry Jam and Marmalade, which has had great reviews from our guests. Best regards... More

Arrived without a booking but were made very welcome. Since we were the only ones so far, we had a look at all the rooms which varied in size but were all great. We splurged on the biggest one which was ENORMOUS! Had 2 armchairs in the bay window and a full couch as well. Lovely ensuite too. We couldn't... More

Thank you for your wonderful review, we loved having you to stay and really pleased you enjoyed our home and especially the breakfast and porridge. I've just made a lovely strawberry jam to go with my home made marmalade. This was my first attempt and am very pleased with the result. I may have to do a blueberry jam next.... More

We have just spent 2 nights at Fernbank, and it was lovely in every way. Other contributers have said it all, but we thoroughly agree with all the nice comments about Annette, the lovely house, the attentive service and delicious breakfasts. We enjoyed the spacious, tastefully decorated room, big fluffy towels, nice toiletries and locally-made tablet. Aberfeldy is a great... More

Thank you for your lovely review. The walking around this area is spectacular and so many routes to follow. I especially enjoy the route along the river bank to Grandtully, I usually stop for coffee at the Chocolate shop, and I don't feel quite so guilty having a few of the specialised chocolates with my coffee after the long walk.... It is a clean, quiet (even though on the main road) B&B with very comfortable beds and chairs in the room. Good parking inside gate. There was a breakfast menu to choose from and the food was delicious. It is close enough to walk to the center of Aberfeldy.
