This is a very conveniently situated hotel in the heart of the town - it is not 5 star but that is not what I paid for. There is parking nearby in the main square. My room was away from the front and so quiet (room 5) - it was however small and smelt musty each time I went inside.... more

We dropped in at the Orca as we needed to stay in the wonderful Orkneys one more night. Doris offered us a double for $100. It was charming, full of original art, comfortable bed and excellent location. The only flaw was no internet yet there was satelite TV. more
