Stayed in the Lindisfarne self catering cottage last July for a week and it was the best experience I've had of self catering anywhere! Mr & Mrs Worthington couldn't do enough to please us during our stay and there was not one thing that wasn't provided in the accommodation - from coffee maker to salt in the cupboards....I'd rate this... more

Stayed at Lindisfarne, just outside Stromness, for a long weekend. Hosts very friendly and helpful (even gave us a lift into town for a night out, to save us driving). Bedrooms all ensuite, very clean, with usual facilities (tea and coffee, etc). Lounge available on first floor for guests, with TV, books and plenty of tourist info. Only minor criticism... more
