Absolutely delighted with this little gem of a B&B in Stromness! Conveniently located only 4 minutes away from the Ferry Inn, where we enjoyed excellent evening meals for both nights of our stay, we were happily surprised by the comfort and softness of the beds, after two less-than-good nights in other B&B's costing 15 - 20 pounds more per couple,... I stayed here in 2006 with my husband and elderly parents. It was the perfect location for our week's holiday in Orkney. Eileen and Tom Worthington were very welcoming, the breakfasts were fantastic and the accommodation was excellent, with a lounge upstairs for the guests. The B&B is located a few minutes' drive from Stromness, and the views are stunning!

My daughter and I stayed at this B&B for 3 nights. It was a very pleasant stay thanks to our hosts. They are very kind and will go out of their way to help you find places and things to do. It's a bit difficult to find if you aren't familiar with the area; even the visitor center in Kirkwall... More

Lovely B&B (with attached self catering cottage) a couple of moments drive from Stromness with great views over the harbour and surrounding islands. Comfortable lounge on the first floor, again with lovely views. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. Beds were comfortable with electric blankets. Breakfast consists of a selection of cereal and fruit and then a full cooked breakfast... More

Tom & Eileen were very welcoming and helpful. Even emailing us to find out how we got on when they found out that our trip to Shetland was in doubt when we had been let down by the Guest House there. Would definately go back.

Eileen & Tom Worthington are excellent hosts and have a great place up on the hill out of Stromness, with stunning views over the harbour to Hoy. Tom lent me a pair of binoculars for our time there which was unasked for and much appreciated. I'm busy planning my next trip to Orkney and I'll gladly stay with them again.... More

We stayed four nights at Lindesfarne in August 2010. When our ferry arrived in Stromness I called to get directions; the B&B was easy to find and convenient to the ferry. Eileen met us at the door. Throughout our stay the Worthington's went our of their way to make our stay comfortable. From helping us with reservations at Maeshowe (highly... More
