once again Paul,Wilma and all the staff have excelled themselves with their hospitality. The rooms, food are immaculate and cannot be faulted. So good making a return visit in March. If you get an opportunity to go do not hesitate you will be pleasantly surprised David & Andrea Grist (the Strawberry man)

I recently stayed at the WillowBank on a coach trip holiday from Morpeth in Northumberland. The hotel is very clean and very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfy! The staff were amazing, nowt was a bother.I was a bit unsure about returning to Largs as it was a favourite place of ours for many years. Now on my own, well,... More

My wife and I spent 4 days at the above hotel and we had a splendid time. The food was just great with 4 choices from the evening menus which catered for all including a vegetarian option. Nothing was too much bother and when my wife asked for two rashers of well done bacon for breakfast this was promptly supplied.... More

On a coach holiday, you have to be prepared for some basic accommodation. However,we were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel, was far above this norm. Rooms well decorated, beds comfortable, bathroom good. The public areas were also furnished to a high standard. The staff were extremely friendly and also efficient. We only had breakfast, with waitress service, and this... More

Stayed at the Willowbank for one night 21 September, first impression was it looked a bit tired and dated, but it was immaculately clean and well presented. The staff were in a class of their own, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was tasty and appetising. They even came to wave us goodbye when we left... More

Last September we went to the willowbank and this is what i wrote----I went on a bus tour with about 50 other people to this hotel. We were warmly greeted by the staff. After having a drink ,we sat down to a 2 course meal followed by tea/coffee. Entertainment was provided by a male singer who sang songs to suit... More

Booked with David Urquhart Holidays for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, the hotel was in Largs, about 80 miles away from the event, but the hotel made the travelling worthwhile, the staff were first class, a beautiful room, lovely setting. The food was really nice, perhaps not quite large enough servings for the males in the party, I could have eaten... More
