We visited the Brisbane for a two night stay with a three course meal on the first evening. On arrival I asked if there was any possibility of changing our room. There was nothing wrong with the room as the deal was for a rear facing view. It was one of the rooms that is awaiting refurbishment. The restuarant manager... More

Well...I came across a first with this hotel. It's the first time I have ever been in a hotel where all the guest at breakfast talked and laughed at how bad the breakfast experience and service was. It was truly pathetic and awful. It was that bad people who had no association with each other chatted and laughed at the... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We do take notice of all reviews . I note that you were originally booked into a twin bedded room but were immediately moved to a double. I find it surprising that 6 staff, including myself, did not acknowledge you and for this I apologise. I would encourage... More

Got an overnight stay at this hotel as a gift for Christmas, we upgraded to the deluxe room. It was fab with a beautiful view across the sea. The room itself was excellent and really spacious. The Jacuzzi bath was the icing on the cake. Ate in the restaurant, good was lovely. Highly recommend

Me, my brother and our partners had booked the Brisbane house hotel for the hogmany party which was £55, this included a 5 course meal, country dancers and a firework display. We arrived on time and sat at our table and our first course was already out. We then noticed people getting a envelope, I asked the table next to... More

i took my daughter and my granddaughter to the hotel today for a spot of lunch as ive always been curious about it as i drive past it frequently. From the outside, the hotel looked really trendy and modern with big glass windows..and by many standards looks like it would be an expensive venue to eat in. The exterior was... More

Exterior of hotel and reception tidy and classy but let down by the bedroom decor that was looking tired as was the bathroom. Don't let this put you off though, rooms were spacious and had a fantastic view overlooking the bay and I believe there is a bedroom refurbishment due. Staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful.Food was... More

I am from Largs and have since moved away, we were in room 116 which is small old and tired.breakfast was also pretty poor with everything floating in grease, bread in breadbox?...orange juice from concentrate. Whole experience terrible. Never worth 100 pounds a night when you compare to some of the hotels in glasgow and surrounding areas.Lyndhurst being one.looks good from... More

Once again I was not disappointed on my visit. The reception staff were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The food was brilliant. The breathtaking views are outstanding. I would have no hesitation on recommending this wonderful hotel to anyone.

Stayed on a Friday night as part of Itison deal. Have stayed at Brisbane on many occasions and really enjoy staying here. We had a small rear room on first floor which we had stayed in before. The meal as part of the deal was as usual lovely, always presented well and plentiful. Staff always helpful bad nice. Unfortunately on... More

Had a good stay here.Room was decent size and a lovely view of the sea. My only slight problem was the pillows were not too good. Food was excellent with a good choice. And breakfast was enjoyable. Would stay again
