My wife and I have spent a very enjoyable week in the company of Mary & John at their excellent guest house accommodation here on the west coast of Scotland. The location was very convenient for all local services we required. Our room was very clean and provided all we needed, unfortunately an en-suite was not available at the time... More

Excellent location, very near town centre, train station and restaurants. Just a five minute walk to town. Hosts Mary and John were very welcoming, and so kind and very helpful in solving a medical issue. Breakfasts were delicious, accommodation was great, ensuite was modern and very clean. We highly recommend this guest house. We thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay.... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay. Very helpful hosts, excellent breakfast. We would have no hesitation recommending St Leonard's Guest House. The accommodation is very well positioned to explore Largs

Stayed here recently in the Double ensuite . Very good value for money. We were told room was small by our hosts, but actually is was adequate, especially at the price. Room was clean and everything worked as it should. Nice modern & clean shower room and toilet. Hosts were friendly, helpful and cooked a great Scottish breakfast. Excellent location,... More

The owners, Mary and John always made sure that we feel at home. Very helpful and positive. Breakfast was great. One thing that they should improve is the quality of internet, it was very poor. and providing hairdryer can improve quality of services

Many thanks for your comments on your stay here during the football coaching course. We have hair dryers in all our rooms so we would have been only to pleased to show you where the hair dryer was if you had come to us especially as you were here for 10 days. The other footballers on the coaching course met... More

From the minute I booked into St Leonard's Guest House I was made to feel very welcome. The owners/hosts were absolutely tremendous, always on hand to offer advice on what to see or where to go, etc. Breakfast was top notch, wether I wanted a full English to a continental the quality was superb. This type of accomodation is not... More

The Guesthouse was excellent. Hosts Mary and John were very friendly and gave advice regarding local visits when we asked. The room was very clean and tea coffee and biscuits replaced every day. Breakfast was excellent with more offered. Good central location also with just a short walk to the sea. A local supermarket is nearby which was useful too... More

This was a very nice place to stay. It was totally convenient to town and our hosts were very helpful. Room was very clean. We overlooked the main road so there was some noise when we opened our windows, but not enough to keep us from sleeping. Only suggestion would be to have a sitting room where guests might visit... The Guesthouse was very clean, with pleasantly decorated rooms, and excellent facilities, excepting our room not being ensuite. The proprietors were friendly, with helpful advice on local pubs and dinning. The breakfast was excellent.

Yet another great week in Largs with a warm welcome from John and Mary again ( this is my fourth stay at the B & B )They have taken to widening their guests horizons with a greater knowledge of "What to do and See" in that part of the world. I was given their slant on the venues and directions... More
