We spent the New Year at Knockomie which is a lovely Arts and Crafts hotel. On the good side all the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and there were adequate sockets. The food was good, particularly the dinners, but the breakfasts were disappointing as the service was slow and the fruit salad... More

We have just returned from a very enjoyable New Year Package at this hotel. Very welcoming, very clean and the staff and owners were very freindly. The food was excellent as was the entire visit with various activities organised to show off the region. we particularly enjoyed the culle skink soup and raspberry parfait as well as the warming drambuie... We live close to the Knockomie but this was our first visit. Big thank you to Beth and the team at Knockomie for a fantastic birthday dinner last night. The service was first class and the food beautifully cooked and presented in a lovely warm intimate restaurant. We had a lovely hot chocolate and Highland coffees in the lounge by... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night at the weekend. We had a prompt and very friendly welcome and were shown to our room. I was disappointed, it's little things which are so easily rectified - wallpaper coming off walls, dirty skirting boards, holes in upholstery, threadbare carpets on the stairs, unclean toilet etc... OK - so we... More

We staying in the Knockomie hotel 3 weeks ago with our three month old baby. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming to us. It was a great stay. We recently stayed at Knockomie Hotel with our two dogs and it was a superb experience. Upon arriving the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming to ourselves and the dogs which was such a relief becasue one of them was only a five month old viszla puppy. It was our first time away with the dogs and the staff... More

This Hotel is on the outskirts of Forres and ideally located for exploring this area of Scotland. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent on both nights we stayed there. A very relaxing place to visit and pet friendly which our dog appreciated!

Nice little hotel just off the Grantown to Forres road - obviously an old hotel and a little tired in areas but lovely people, good food and quaint - relaxing stay but maybe a little pricey for where it is in terms of population centres - no other complaints

My parents, sister and I have just spent four nights at this hotel for mums 80th Birthday. The staff were warm, friendly and very welcoming, nothing too much trouble, my parents room had been refurbished and was lovely. My room which was a twin shared with my sister wasn't so good. Bathroom needed a good update and bedroom was a... More

We booked this with booking . Com , my husband also stated that his mum was 82yrs old and we preferred a room on the lower ground for her . Firstly we stopped at Brodie's on the way up for morning coffee , followed by lunch at the Kimberly Arms in Findhorn . The hotel was easy to find and... More
