We stayed in Big Cook lodge for 3 nights at the end off the Scottish school holidays and really enjoyed it. Staff were lovely and friendy and went out of their way to help us. The lady in reception got extra bedding for us after we arrived late having forgotten half of ours, and the owner saw us struggling to... More

One of the best sites we have been to. Great wigwams with nice decking and benches. Toilet and showers were so clean and private cubicles. Great big kitchen area and so clean. The resturant serves nice food and has a nice out door area. Great facilities for kids 😊

My partner and i are just back from 3 nights in a pod at East Grange Farm. It was an excellent first time experience! The wigwam itself was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is beautiful and although it is height of the season and the site was full it was still relaxing and peaceful. The onsite facilities... More

We have just returned from 2 lovely nights at East Grange Wigwams and I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone looking to enjoy a camping trip but with those little extra mod-cons! We booked a 5 person wigwam for two adults, a 6 year old and a small dog. The size was perfect, with plenty room to fit in... More

East Grange is a real find and breaks the journey to and from Inverness. It is very family orientated with a selection of different wigwams to hire out. We are in, one of the original wigwams with a low door entrance- mind your head when going in and out. It is comfortable and very sufficient for two people and equiped... More

We spent 1 night in East Grange Campsite early in June'14 with our little one (15months) and had really great weekend there! Wigwams are great, really clean. The other facilities in Boothy (kitchen, showers, toilets) are in perfect clean conditions too. Our wigwams was situated on the far end, and was closer to train line. In the Saturday's evening 3... Having just arrived home from this amazing place, I honestly have to write this review. I have 3 very different children in terms of likes and dislikes so it is difficult to find something fun for all the family, I accidentally stumbled across the lodge and thought we would go for a while to see what it was like, we... We had an amazing time staying over at the wigwams for 30th and 31st Dec. The wigwams are amazing. So so cosy and comfy. We were able to get the wigwam so hot that we didn't need our sleeping bags or onesies. The interior changes from a sitting room to a giant sleeping area in under a minute. Kettle, fridge... More

Just back from 4 nights at East Grange and will be booking for next year. All the Wigwams were close to the kitchen & shower/toilet facilities, which were clean and much better than we'd expected - hot showers and loo roll included :) The kids (3, 9 & 14) loved it, the indoor and outdoor play areas, painting, quad biking... DAY 4 & 5 OF MY SCOTTISH TOUR Back in May we tried our hand at 'Glamping' in north Wales for the first time so thought about giving it another go on our Scottish tour. It wasn't cheap - £48 for the pod - but it could accommodate up to five people in fairness. It was easy to find just... More
