What a joy! Wonderful hotel, superbly appointed - even a choice of down or microfil pillows! Judith and her staff gave us a holiday to remember, very comfortable, lovely food, glorious position and to top it off, four wondefully sunny days, forget the chilly temperatures! We adored Arran and will certainly be back. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Glenisle Hotel on several occasions and will continue to do so in the future. I have previously submitted reviews & don't want to become a bore by repeating myself. However, just to summarise:- . The accommodation is of a very high standard. . The staff are very friendly, but courteous & helpful. . The restaurant... More

My first stay at the Glenisle and I found it to be superb in every department. I stayed for two nights and found this hotel so relaxing i almost wished it had rained all the day so i could spend all the time inside.Well done in achieving such high standards, the challenge now is to maintain them.

Fabulous. Highest standards in every department;staff, food, rooms, location, relaxed ambience, tasteful décor. Abundant hot water, well priced menu and wine list. I normally write thousand word reviews but feel I don't have to in this instance. Even 4 days of unrelenting heavy rainfall did not mar our enjoyment thanks to the quality provided by this superb hotel on the wonderful island of Arran,... More

We spent three nights at the Glenisle and used it as a base to play golf. We stayed in the Superior suite on the top floor by virtue of a free upgrade from the room we had booked. The room was incredibly well appointed and (a small but important point), the bed and pillows very really soft and comfortable. It... More

really enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely and the food tremendous. The location is superb, just across the green from the sea. The best thing of all was the staff, they were so friendly and welcoming, really an asset to the hotel. Will be back!

My boyfriend and I arrived late because of ferry hoppings back from Jura. We arrived at the 'small' reception desk which there was a member of staff on reception who just walked into the bar and walked back out saying 'someone will be with you shortly' that shortly was 15minutes later! When we checked in the staff member was helpful... More

Having been married on Friday, my wife and I had a mini-honeymoon in Arran for three nights and this was our first stop. I was looking forward to this stay as the management's communication before our stay had been brilliant. Weather reports and room updates. These small details are appreciated. We had a side-facing room that still offered a pretty... More
