We stayed for three nights in the Glenisle hotel. The rooms, a single and cosy double were both very comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We had dinner as well as breakfast at the hotel and were not disappointed with the quality of any of the meals. Also some of the dishes were offered as... More

We had a very pleasant long weekend stay at the Glenisle. The owners and staff were so courteous and helpful, the room was beautiful with the best of furnishings and finishings, and the food was outstanding. We couldn't fault it at all - and of course the views from our room over the Holy Isle were stunning.

Food was good, staff were lovely, room was well equipped, and had nice touches. Downside was the rooms were small on the top floor - you wouldn't want to book one if you're too tall! Overall a good place to stay

We stayed in the premier suite at Glenisle for 2 nights in April. The room is beautifully done with a huge, comfy bed and lovely views across to holy island. We booked a bed and breakfast tariff and weren't disappointed by the breakfast quality or choices - nice selection of local produce at breakfast too. We ate dinner at the... More

From the fireplaces to the friendly faces, this place takes the cake... (and the haggis) to a whole new level. Every meal we've eaten, every night we've slept here, has been blissful and stress free. The beds are soft, the towels are warm (really! there are towel warmers in the bathrooms!) the food is hot and plentiful, and crazy good.... More

Staying at the Glenisle Hotel was a truly nurturing experience. The room overlooking the Bay at Lamlash was tasteful, bright and cosy with an amazing view. All the staff were extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. I also enjoyed the cosy fireside lounges in the middle of Feb and the amazing boot cleaning machine after trekking around the... More

We were staying in a nearby cottage and used the Glenisle a couple of times during our stay for a meal or drinks. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the decor lovely. Every member of staff were very friendly and attentive and the food fantastic. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stay or for a meal in... More

Had super overnight stay with my two adult sons in this immaculate small hotel. A very friendly welcome right from the start when I made the initial enquiry about booking & great service throughout our time there. Despite poor weather we were warm & cosy with the log burning stove in the bar area providing a great focal point for... More

We spent our anniversary in the luxury suite, (and restaurant), and had a very relaxing bath with a view which eased the muscles well after hiking on Arran. The standard of service at the hotel and in the bistro was just right, and our memories of a happy weekend lasted longer than just our stay thanks to the attention to... More

Just spent a wonderful weekend in the Glenisle hotel in Lamlash on the beautiful Isle of Arran. Delighted with all the facilities, modern decor, friendly and attentive service and attention to detail in this jewel of a hotel in Lamlash. Restaurant first class and reasonably priced. No hesitation in recommending.
