After a 28 mile jaunt around Islay in glorious sunshine and an enjoyable "cruise" back to Kennacraig, thanks to Calmac, thoughts turned to the banks ahead and the dash to catch the ferry to Lochranza. The latter was made easily with enough time to watch the weather change and focus our mind on the notorious Bogle bank up and out... More

My wife and I stayed here on our Arran Coastal Way walk in early August. The hotel is currently being upgraded and we stayed in a renovated room which was beautiful. Both windows overlooked the sea, the room was bright and modern. We had dinner in the small bar which was excellent and had a good atmosphere. Great location for... More

Stayed for one night a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed glorious weather. We knew (from Tripadvisor) the hotel was under newish ownership and undergoing renovation which was not a problem for us. Our top floor room was small but comfortable and clean with a new ensuite. We were given a warm welcome by the staff who made lots of... More

This hotel is a real hidden gem! The quality of food is outstanding. Wide choice on menu. Have eaten twice here...so far while on holiday in Corrie and for sure will be going again. Owner and staff very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend stopping off here while on the island.

From the minute we stepped through the door of the Corrie Hotel, all sweaty and tired from being in the hills, we were spoiled rotten. Friendly banter from the staff and so incredibly accommodating to myself, being the awkward vegan. On two occasions they went out their way to speak to me personally about what things they could cook for... More

While staying at a nearby self catering cottage we visited the Corrie hotel on a number of occasions and found the food to be excellent. We highly recommend the curry, Chris the chef was even kind enough to give us the recipe! The owners (Anne and Danny) and staff are very friendly and helpful, Anne was kind enough to give... More

We had the most marvellous time at Corrie Hotel. It's under new management and Danny and Anne are doing so much to the hotel. The decor is lovely and the bar was really friendly and chatty. Our room was gorgeous with a new en-suite and a view to die for - overlooking the sea and beer garden outside. It had... More

Corrie hotel isle of Arran Asked if they served coffee. Yes they did. We'll have a latte, an Americano and.. If you want fancy coffees you will have to go elsewhere. We had 4 instant coffees & were charged £14.00. We will not be back.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us. As relatively new owners we have not yet made a decision on aquiring a coffee machine, as this may affect our neighbouring business, who also serve coffee. The coffee you had was served in a pot, so more than... More
