Went to Aaron with the boys to do a hike-a-bike style adventure. This wee hotel was very accommodating. A place for the bikes and a very nice owner who even drove our dry gear back to us after our ride. A lovely pub and excellent chips too!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners are very friendly, the room was recently refurbished to a high standard, and the food is excellent. The bar is also a relaxing place to spend time. Our dogs were made welcome, including the generous provision of some breakfast sausage. This hotel is in an excellent location for hill and coastal walking,... More

Hotel in new hands and getting a good internal upgrade in rooms and bar areas. Excellent location by the water with extensive beer garden facility. Staff were all very willing/obliging despite the activity going on with the building work. Hearty breakfast available. Look forward to returning once work completed.

We booked this hotel on Arran fairly late and got a very good deal of 3 days for the price of 2 which is available in October and November. We were allocated room 2 which is a fully refurbished room and possibly the best in the hotel. There are lovely views to sunrise over the Ayrshire coast and along the... More

We went into the Corrie hotel for a bar lunch during a recent stay on Arran. As previous reviews have said the hotel is being totally refurbished. The staff and service were very good and the barman Clark was most helpful and welcoming. My husband had the Aberdeen Angus burger and said it was the best he had ever tasted,... More

We went to the Corrie hotel for a meal and although the owners were renovating the place they managed business as usual, the staff were very busy but managed a smile and chat, we had a roast beef dinner it was very good except for the roast potatoes which had obviously been hanging about a long while as they were... A huge thanks for posting your review. I am sorry about your roasties, they are freshly cooked every day, so I an surprised they were not as tasty as they usually are, so apologies once more. As you mention, we are renovating the hotel and I am glad your visit was not spoiled by this. Thank you for your good... More

A group of six of us ordered a bar supper on an evening when few customers appeared to be eating. The main course took 1hr 20 minutes to arrive, the sweets (a great improvement) in just under half an hour. We will now highly recommend the Olympic Committee to enter the Corrie Hotel in the 'Slowest Service' section of the... More

The Corrie Hotel is one of these special places that are so hard to find when vacationing -- it's more of an experience than just a place to stay. The location is absolutely superb, close to the main town, but so serene and quiet, with water views you can't believe. However, don't come here if you prefer the Ritz, or... More

We recently got married in Corrie and pretty much took over the hotel for the weekend with our friends and family. Anne and Danny went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and at home, from letting us store flowers in the porch to making me heart-shaped toast on my wedding morning! Anne was very accommodating of all... More
