The Glenartney has a fantastic location with views over the bay and only a three minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Brodick and a two minute drive from the ferry terminal The house is set in lovely gardens with an outside seating area and the whole building is well maintained and clean and Robbie and Angela couldn't be... We stayed only one night at the Glenartney but thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Felt like home, very comfortable and amenities for guests excellent, laundry facilities, wifi, breakfast and lounges all great. Loved the art work around the place too. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

If visiting Arran stay at The Glenartney. Location is quiet and beautiful, rooms nice and cozy and breakfast excellent. The guesthouse is located within walking distance to restaurants, groceries, ATM, and walking trails. Easy access by foot to Arran Brewery, The Heritage museum as well as the beach and a golf course.

Beautifully decorated house and lots of lovely art throughout. We had a lovely room and although we didn't have the view of Goatfell we did ask for a room with good wifi, and we got it. Our dog was made very welcome too, and if no guests objected was able to sit in the lounge. Even had a sausage in... More

I first noticed the Glenartney many years ago, but only just stayed there. The house is set above Brodick, so it's quiet and secluded. My room wasn't en-suite, but my bathroom was in the next room along the corridor, and featured a real bath. The whole place was clean and comfortable, with nice touches such as leaving cake slices out... More

We stayed at the Glenartney for a week. The rooms are spotless and the beds firm and comfortable. You can treat this like a home from home. There are two lounges. One with a TV and one without. You can help yourself to coffee/tea and cakes/biscuits during the afternoon. The room we had gave us a magnificent view over Goat... More

Great base to explore Arran, central in Brodick. Spotlessly clean, ots of information provided, breakfast excellent with fresh fruit as well as the usual cooked varieties. Very welcoming of our dog. Not sure if we had a slightly bigger room than others but it was more than sufficient for our needs.Helful and available owners but not overbearing which suited us... More

A very comfortable B&B with helpful owners and two comfortable lounges for the use of residents. Restaurants within walking distance, particularly enjoyed eating at the Brodick bar and brasserie - highly recommend. Owners happy for us to use the dining room to have a Chinese takeaway. Rooms very comfortable and warm. Breakfast tasty and recommend the full cooked breakfast! Overnight... More

Four of us stayed at Glenartney on the first leg of our islands cycle tour. Booking and payment was very straightforward, we got a friendly welcome from Angela on arrival, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great advice on where to eat in the evening and a terrific breakfast set us up for the day. Will definitely return.... More

On a wild and windy day my wife and I began our cycling trip around Scotland, starting on the Isle of Arran. The ferry across was enjoyable giving a great view of Goat Fell covered in snow. When we reached Brodick we soon found the Glenartney. A perfect location up a slight hill from the sea front with views across... More
