This excellent B&B is run by a great couple with friendly staff. The cosy rooms were just that so an excellent nights sleep was had. Everywhere was stylishly, very tasteful and wonderfully clean. The view from the room was breath taking. The guest lounge was a great place to meet and chat over as many teas/coffees as you wished (or... More

A perfect cyclists b&b! The team were happy to wash my kit, there was good secure bike storage and equipment and tools if you needed it. Breakfasts were good and hearty too and there were lots of good places to eat nearby. But almost the best thing was the location and the views from the front door. Wonderful. A great... More

Great place , loved it . Nice & handy but quiet too . Extremely clean & very nicely appointed . As much tea and coffee anytime you wanted it . We were leaving before breakfast but they left us a nice cold buffet to have as early as we wanted . Thanks '

We stayed here for six nights and can thoroughly recommend it as a great base from which to explore Arran. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard, is spotlessly clean and has two comfortable lounges for guests with lots of information on Arran, as well as a small bar. Our room was not particularly big, but excellent use... More

We had an excellent 1 night stay here.Room was very clean and comfortable with ensuite although on the small side with a tiny wardrobe space. Still there were no vacancies that evening. Breakfast was excellent with friendly efficient service. The location is good with wonderful views of the bay and Goat Fell

The Glenartney is a great B&B, extremely friendly and welcoming, immaculately clean, lovely breakfasts, and very accommodating of the dog. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful Island of Arran (the mini heatwave helped!). We spent our time walking and spotting the island wildlife, no red squirrels to be seen until on our last morning one popped... More

If you are visiting Brodick on the beautiful Island of Arran stay here .It is a two minute walk to the harbour with beautiful beach and sea views. The rooms are cosy and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is formidable and you will not leave hungry. There is a little bar for evening refreshment and a lovely television lounge plus another... More

Lovely location and easy to find . Cosy room as predicted but clean and fresh and will be really great when the painting is finished! The breakfast was wellcooked and there was a great selection to choose from served by friendly staff .the facilities were really good but didn't spend a great deal of time indoors as weather good. However... More

I stayed at the Glenartney for three nights in early May with my nephew Steve. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Angela. There was an excellent choice at breakfast & the staff were friendly & prompt. Our room was spacious & comfortable, there is also a lounge with a small but well stocked bar. There is a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
One of our greatest assets is our stunning peaceful location.Far enough away from the centre of Brodick to have peace and quiet but close enough to enjoy all the amenities within a few minutes walk. The Glenartney is our fully renovated guesthouse filled with stylish high quality detail. We have created the place we would love to stay in; characterful, very clean and comfortable; a home from home. We have cycle, golf and outdoor gear storage, there are walking and biking trails from our door.Although our bedrooms are on the small side, they are very comfortable with very high standard beds and furnishings. We have 2 lovely lounges for you to relax in and plan your Arran adventures while having a wee dram from our residents bar. ... more   less
