We spent 11 very comfortable nights in Woodlea, Glenartney's cottage, with our three dogs. It was a pleasure to meet Angela our very pleasant, helpful and friendly hostess. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we could need (OK, self-catering for us is breakfast), especially a very fast and reliable Broadband. There was plenty of hot water, there are... We spent three nights at the Glenartney over the September weekend. We received a warm welcome. The guest house is a short walk (or cycle) from the ferry terminal and handy for all of the restaurants and attractions of Brodick. The facilities were fantastic. We had taken our bicycles with us and there was plenty of secure storage and drying... More

After a short trip from the ferry we arrived at heaven ! We were greeted and shown the facilities two lovely lounges one with TV and free tea and coffee. Plenty of books and useful information available. Lovely paintings on wall mostly done by Angela. Our room was clean comfortable and decorated to suit the house. The shower and bath... More

Let me start with a complaint - we could only stare there for two of our five nights on the island! That's because it was booked and how we wished it wasn't and that we could have stayed longer. So damn those other guests who'd booked ahead of us!! The place has character and is a quite excellent example of... More

The Glenartney is a very Comfortable bed and breakfast in Brodick. Just a few minutaes away from the Ferry with a nice garden with a great view. The owners are very helpful, breakfast is great. Try the real ales of Arran.

My partner and I stayed for two nights at the Glenartney and loved it. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, great shower, all essentials, we were even able to pay to have a load of washing done which was returned to us hours after we dropped it off. Robbie and Angela were so knowledgeable about the area, gave great recommendations... More

Just returned from a two night stay at the Glenartney and would like to say thank you for making our short trip to Arran nice and relaxed. The room (#5 I think) was lovely, definitely cosy but this didn't bother us, it was beautifully decorated and had everything necessary for our short stay - very clean as well. The B&B... More

Myself and my partner just stayed for three nights here and have never been so gutted to go home! The room was lovely - warm, cosy and the comfiest bed, and the en suite was superbly clean. We genuinely slept the best we have for a very long time! There was a shared bathroom next door where I could have... More
