The Kilmichael is indeed a very special place to stay. This was our second visit. The Garden Suite had a bedroom, two bathrooms and a small sittingroom, all beautifully decorated and furnished with exquisite taste. This is an excellent country house hotel. The housekeeper told us that it reverts to a private home when the tourist season is over, and it definitely has that feel -- it's comfortable as well as elegant, and the owner/host is very friendly and helpful.
