After a long day cycling and due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed accommodation late at night, and approaching 11 pm I new it wouldn't be easy. Rosaburn Lodge had a vacancy sign outside and the lights were still on. After knocking and a polite enquiry, the man of the house rudely replied, 'Do you know what time it is' and... More

After cycling 85 miles from Oban I enquired as to whether they had any vacancies. The sign in the windows said they did. The owner opened the door, looked me up and down and saw the bike, finished chewing on what ever he was eating and said he had no vacancies. Shameful and disgusting!

Incredibly bad customer service by this guest house, they refused a room even though they had vacancies. There was no reason at all to refuse a room. A decent person just needed a room for one night after cycling 85 miles as part of a trip to raise money for charity. Shocking customer service and very unprofessional.

Spent four nights at Roseaburn Lodge with two other couples. The six of us enjoyed our break but were rather disappointed in how cold the house was. It was very cold outside for the time of year so would have expected some more heating on. We had the suite so at night the six of us could huddle up in... More

When we arrived greeted by owner shown to our rooms. Six of us and the lodge has 3 rooms - a suite, double and twin. The house is lovely suite excellent, twin room lovely but our room double not so nice. Not enough room and very noisy toilet folding door. Rooms were spotless but very very cold considering the weather... More

The bnb location is very perfect and close to brodick ferry terminal. It has nice view of goatfell. Bnb garden was well maintained and beautiful. Luckily out of 4 day stay 2 day were bright and sunny so we enjoyed our walks. There is way next to bnb for brodick castle approx 1.5 km. Host Leena was very cheerful and... More

Very nice house, everything overly clean. Not cheap so just 4*. Our room was quite big, the breakfast okay but nothing especial. To the center of Brodick it's a pretty walk, so nothing for a quick step-by.

We had a lovely stay here. The grounds are beautiful, with ducks, chickens and apparently otters can occasionally appear in the garden. Really central location. Beautiful, bright room with windows on three aspects, looking in to the garden. Breakfast was fine. The hosts Paul & Leen were extremely friendly & accommodating so I have no idea what some bad reviewers... More

We booked to stay at this b and b after reading a very well produced web site. The accommodation is scrupiously clean but Spartan. That on its own would have been fine, but the lack of heating made the room very cold. We asked for the heating to be switched on; it took a long time to get warm as... More
