My husband, son and myself stayed at The Blackwaterfoot Hotel for two nights, I can only say I was sorry it could not have been for longer, the staff were welcoming and attentive, our rooms were clean and comfortable, with attention to detail. We took dinner on the second night of our stay, the experience was one of "fine dining",... More

I could not fault the lovely welcome we received at this hotel: nor the spotless, comfortable, en-suite room, complete woth free WIFI and tea/coffee facilities and especially not the utterly magnificent breakfasts. Situated a minute from a fabulous beach/coast and two minutes from a magnificent 12 hole golf course. Don't miss it if you are golfers. A joy to savour.... More

An excellent comfortable lodge with superb food and restaurant in a great location. The chef was passionate about his food and created some delightful dishes. We never wanted to go elsewhere for our meals. A well stock bar with excellent malts and beers with warm friendly staff giving great service. We felt we mattered to them. When trying to answer... Stayed for a night last weekend in a double bedroom with "shared bathroom" (which was absolutely clean, right next to our room, with no other users) for £60, with a view at the sea. The hotel's location was very convenient as it was two minutes from Blackwaterfoot harbour and 5 mins from the beach. Very friendly staff, decent dinner (in... More

Fantastic location right on the prettiest bit of coast, away from the bustle of Brodick but well-served by buses, this little hotel is completely charming. The building is lovely, all period features and thoughtful touches, nicely decorated and really REALLY comfortable (gorgeous pure wool blankets everywhere, open fires etc). Our rooms were cosy and everything worked perfectly. The bar is... More

Last minute booking.. Outside looks in need of a paint job..but hey..inside superb!! Staff were exceptional .Great rooms and conservatory.Dining room very high standard. Food we had was just a bar meal..strange shaped fish but excellent Thai mussels! Great position 2 mins from small harbour and situated on a very quiet road.

After walking part of the Arran coastal way I was looking forward to a cosy hotel and some beers and food. I wasn't disappointed - extremely friendly staff, a very comfortable room, a great little bar with a fire and probably the highlight - fine food! I'll definitely be back. Mind you, it might become so popular that I'll have... More

The hotel does not yet have a webpage and I received no answer to my request of availability via email. I called, was told that a room was available and I would received a written confirmation soon, which never arrived. However, when I showed up, I had a very good surprise, with a lovely traditional building, beautiful sitting room, spacious... More

This is my first review because this hotel was so lovely. We stayed last Sunday and the staff were so kind, genuine and helpful. Food was fabulous. Room was lovely and comfortable. Nothing was any hassle. Our dog was made welcome too. Had a great chat in the bar, which if we weren't so tired would have continued longer. Felt... More
