The lady was very friendly and welcoming and she cooked a hearty breakfast which was good. The beds were comfortable and the views amazing. Great location. The heating wasn't on so it was a bit chilly for us weedy southerners and I'm a bit OCD about cleaning so I did notice some surfaces that could do with a bit of... More

I first stayed last year in the main house, hired a room with my partner and one for mum. Rooms were nicely decorated and view from mums room was fantastic over fields and down to sea. Location excellent, close to beach and village, beautiful views around and very peaceful. Warm welcome for dogs and breakfast outstanding. Stayed again in may... More

My friend and I arrived at The Greannan around 9pm on a wet and dismal evening. we were welcomed and shown to our rooms, both of which were very spacious, the beds super comfortable. Having requested water, we were each given 2 bottles of sparkling water- perfect. Outside the rooms was a bookcase- very handy for reading material in bed!... More

Just spent 4 nights in this lovely B&B on the west coast of Arran. Janice and Susan were very welcoming, and made us feel very at home. Breakfasts were excellent, and we were grateful for the use of the dining room as a base in the evening where we could all meet up. A bit disappointed with the local eateries... More

The Greannan is a first class establishment with wonderful views in every direction. The rooms are exceptional and breakfast is flexible and prepared for each guest individually. Good value for money and within an easy walk or two minute drive to the sea and local services, including two excellent restaurants, with one located in the modern Golf Club and the... More

We stayed two nights at the Greannan Inn and we loved our stay. The place is charming (just like the isle), the room is comfortable and clean and we had a complete breakfast in the morning. The place is easy to find thought there's not much to do around it. You must take the car and go to Brodick or... More

A friend and I spent four nights in this friendly, family-run B&B. Excellent breakfasts, and we were welcome to spend time in the breakfast room (well-stocked with books, TV and WiFi) whenever we liked. The location is scenic and convenient and our room was comfortable. The building is historic with an interesting past, but with modern fittings, and we enjoyed... More

Have used this B&B several times.Friendly. No scrimping on breakfasts. Fresh fruit, (I'm afraid I pinched all their bananas, apples & oranges to keep me cycling, - er.. sorry, so thought I'd do this review to make up), also yogurt, fruit juice ( juice jugs refilled automatically), loadsa cereals & muesli all factory wrapped, porridge, as much toast (brown or... I stayed at this lovely Bed and Breakfast last year for a week. We had a double en-suite room that was HUGE compared to any other b&b we had stayed in. Views to the sea and across the valley could be seen from our bay window. The staff were very helpful and friendly - especially when we returned from a... More

This was the second time my wife and I stayed at The Greannan B&B. We remembered how we liked the atmosphere of the place during our first stay nine years ago, high up above Blackwaterfoot with views of Kinbrannan Sound and Kintyre beyond, so we thought we would stay here again, only a couple days longer. Susan, our hostess, made... More
